Thanks Dexter. I am glad that I put the play in at +6, I see it dropping to +4.5 and even +4.0. Just so you know, I have recently been teasing your plays, in different ways. It has worked out great. For instance, last night, the Mavericks and Kings won for me. I know what everybody says about teasing and how it is a suckers play. I agree with this for the most part. But, with basketball (spreads only), it has worked great. Just thought that I would share this with you. Like the plays tonight, thank you.

A teaser is only a sucker's play if the bettor does not know how to cap. If you pick your spots I don't see anything wrong with it.

With a teaser you add points to the score and you take N number of teams together, I think the minimum size is 3 teams. The vig is a bit high but you get the extra points. You can get 6, 6 1/2, or 7 points, you pay more vig for 6 1/2 or 7 points.

a bookie years ago told me that teasers are meant to "tease" the bettor. i have never played one since...all i remember with teasers was hitting 2 out 3 every time.

The only time that I will buy half a point is when the line is a whole number to give me the "hook" advantage (remember that ties lose and not push). Lets get these plays tonight. My book has pushed the Knicks/Suns over to 220, Pacers to +4.5, and Heat is at -7. I have them all teased together (2 team teasers). So because I got the lines early, I am looking at a variety of combinations with Knicks/Suns over 212.5, Pacers +11.5, and Heat -1.5.

I play teases with my local because he makes it a no play if one of the teams tie. Even if I lose one game and the other game ties it is still a push. Thats an unreal deal that I have to take advantage of.

Thats correct. On my online accounts you lose on a tie though. The ties have saved me more than once, nothing like losing the first bet and then rooting to tie out the second one.

If this is the case, it is still a good deal. With my guy, if I win one and tie the second, I lose. I see the Heat at -8 now. With these three plays by Dexter, it is the first time in a while that I can remember all of the plays shifting in my "favor". Great plays Dexter and thanks for posting them so early
