#843so buying out always works out for you? or do you panic too early and watch a winner go down the drain?Originally posted by WalkingLuckCharmwhy don't you ever buy out? I use to struggle with it too, having money on one team, trying to accept that it could be a losing bet.
is it because you lose juice?
thats a very conservative way of betting...not a bad thing, just not my thingComment -

#844Hey dude. Nope buying out doesn't work for me all the time. Sometimes it doesn't hit, but believe it or not I think i make the right calls more than not.
For me, when I believe another team is going to win, I bet more than my original bet. So it aint really conservative, I would have thought it was rather the opposite.
You are right, sometimes i panic too early and watch the winner goes down the drain, but I also think not considering buying out and always sticking to your original bet is not very smart
You seem a little upset with my previous post. Didn't mean to lol, I was just a little confused. just my food for thought buddyComment -

#845i wasnt upset...apologizes if i came off that way...was going to say, that if this does work out for you a lot, you should bet more on the 2nd halves so that you dont just break even....Originally posted by WalkingLuckCharmHey dude. #851do you have the nba ticket and watch a lot of the first halves of games you bet?Originally posted by WalkingLuckCharmcan't. im a degenerate gambler/adrenaline junkie
that is a distinct advantage you can have (if you understand the game) for betting 2nd halves....
i cant play halves, qtrs etc....but i have always noticed that when great coaches (ie, popovich, sloan etc) are down at the half, they come out strong in q3.....shoebox was always good at identifying those plays...Comment -

There are a lot of things that you and I will never be able to explain.
But I suppose that you probably believe the Warren Report as well.
How bout we leave it at that kiddo?
No, the Warren Report was garbgage imo. Kiddo? Ha, whatever guy.. Funny, you started all those form letters in peoples threads and even had form replies to some of your detractors.
Do you understand the magnitude of what a fix would involve? In this society the only thing that is a secret anymore are the thoughts in your own head that are never expressed. Over 30% of all hardline traffic is being listened too..All cell phone traffic is recorded and when key words are spoken people are listening. How do you think the FBI found out about Donaguy? The FBI had mafia wiretaps and listened to chatter about him being involved with inside information that the mafia was exploiting.
Bottomline, to fix any game it takes more than one person to be involed and since when is those secrets ever kept? Do you understand what is at risk for involved participants?
In all the years of fixed games why hasn't any retired NBA officials or retired NBA players come forward with shocking news and spilled the beans? You do realize a great majority of ex-NBA players wind up flat broke after there careers are over, right? Many millionaires in the NBA cannot manage there money and are bankrupt within 5 yrs after there careers are over.. Wouldn't behoove those ex-players and officials to come forward and write books and make millions? I am sure alot of conspiracy theorist like you would make them top sellers. Does Jose Canseco ring a bell? Once he became broke he spilled the beans about steroid involvement in MLB. In all these years none of the ex-players or ex-officials have come forward yet? No death bed confessions, nothing?? I guess all of them are going to the grave with there knowledge of fixed games

I got past arguing and debating anything a long time ago my friend.
Greatest bit of wisdom and insight I ever found.
And if I can upset you so easily with my take on things you are still a child.
Whoever angers you controls you son.
So...just so you don't have a hemorrhage over my viewpoint how about we just say that you're right and I'm wrong ...
There...all settled. Hope you can now let the whole thing go now and live in peace.
This is my final word on the whole topic.Comment -

HA, there you go again... So I am a child now, and a son. HA, buddie you really need to get over yourself!!
You are not important enough to anger me, who the hell are you anyways, but somebody that has posted form letter and form responses in threads on the internet. People like you with your narcissit personality are only important to ones self.
All I ask was some valid questions that a man such as yourself with tons of inside information on fixes should have readily made form responses to those concerns as well.
You give no supporting responses but make those broad sweeping statements. Do you think anybody with an IQ of better than average is buying that? Not everybody in the world is a DA? Some of us in fact are very intelligent and can think and make assumptions for ourselves.
All I dd was challenge your "authority" on this subject and you freaked out, who's the child?Comment -

I understand but LA-6 in Pacers building would bring too much big action in. Books ain't worried about the little $25, $50 wagers that is bombarding them on Lakers. Personally the line to me is a good line because I don't really want to play a side here. I know LA could shit all over the pacers if they wanted too but they don't get too motivated for these type games right now revenge are not.Comment -

#862i agree that its hard for LA to get motivated....you dont think avenging a home loss to indy this year will have them more fired up to blast them? drilled them by 20+ last year in indy...Originally posted by lyon804I understand but LA-6 in Pacers building would bring too much big action in. Oh, I agree they def can wipe Indy all over there court, but LA is in reg season mode now imo. Indy ain't big enough on the radar to feel threatned enough to have to avenge a loss at home. Who is Indy? Now if it was a western conf team that did that I think LA would get up for it more and send the mesage, but with working Bynum back into thel lineup and giving some regulars some rest I ain't sure revenge is on there minds, besides this is a verteran group we are talking about that takes alot to get them motivated. Most of the time they just going thru the motions like practice.
You never know until you bet bro. If LA covers tonite we can say they were motivated, if not I guess they wasn't...Comment -
