The reason why I'm very selective on betting against the heat is because what we've seen these playoffs is what i anticipated we would see all season. Now that we see what they are capable of, you have to admit, they are scary to bet against. I bet on Dallas game 2 but didn't post it but only bet $70. I got lucky there, when I bet on Boston game 5 +7.5 lebron scored 10 points in 1 min

Dex are you taking this game using your "home team" reasoning that you used throughout the playoffs or is there some other reason you like Dallas? Right now I am going to take the heat +1.5, I really think Miami wins in 6 games and don't see this going to 7 games or Dallas winning it all. I do think that if it goes to 7 games it is because Dallas wins game 6. I don't have any real analysis to back up my thoughts but that is what I figure will happen.

I truly think Miami is deeper and better everywhere against Dallas with the exception of Dirk and just can't see them winning two in a row. Now I am sure this is some real square thinking, but I just don't see it happening any other way. So my lean is Miami ML but will take Miami and the pts. What can you tell me?

yes, i am still doing the home team thing. but the more i think about it, i like the mavs in this game. i may add to the play as i have house money to play with this week (love those weeks). lebron is a pure joke, and it truly would be a shame to watch that punk get a ring. watching this series, i dont see how this doesnt go 7 - with the game being decided in the final minutes of game 7. i think this goes the distance, and dirk takes it home for cuban. if the heat win, i get $700 on the series - win/win for me...

great call dex. I was coaching at a football camp so never had access to a computer today. was able to get done in time to watch the 4th quarter to see that you were right and I picked wrong. Nice win for you. I lost but at least I wasn't on Miami real big but big enought to lose the money that I made on baseball this week.

I will be on Miami to win the next game and if it wins I will do my best to lay off of the 7th game
