#216I don't get this theory. LeBron HAD to prove himself in a must win game 5 with series tied 2-2 at home and he did not even try in the least bit. I really think he has given up and realizes that even if he does will this series that they will lose in 5-6 games against ORL.Scared money don't make money

#218Big stepout play LB. I think the only way Celts lose if Shaq and Mo Williams showup to help LBJ. If Pierce plays well it might not matter since Rondo always shows up. There are alot of ways Boston wins, only a few for Cavs and each one needs big game from James.Comment -

#220Monty McCuthen is the #19 ref ATS for Home Teams 39-35 ATS.
Bob Delaney is the #33 ref ATS for Home Teams 31-32 ATS.
Eddie F. Rush is the #11 ref ATS for Home Teams 37-31 ATS.
So there are two refs in the TOP 20 ATS for home teams and one ref who is very neutral. Keep in mind there are 67 refs.Scared money don't make money

#227Please be careful everybody. Remember that LB is the exception rather than the rule when it comes to large wagers. He has a roll that can tolerate a 100x play. It is unsettling to see people speaking of all-in's. An all in is never a good play from a money management perspective. Just remember, win or lose, LB will be here and still wagering due to the size of his roll regardless of outcome. If the game goes the other way, the all-in's are sidelined until they can replenish their rolls.Comment -

#234I was all set to take Boston but after seeing the ref assignments, there is absolutely no way I can lay the cash on the Celtics. McCutcheon, Delaney AND Rush? I can live with McCutcheon but not "company guys" like Rush and Delaney. The Cavs are going to be the beneficiary of every call known to man in this game and I am just not sure the Celtics can overcome it. I will watch it from the sidelines. Good luck to all.Comment -

#235lb is probably a semi-retired multi-millionaire. 10k on a bet is peanuts to him. is it good management? of course not. anything can happen in an nba game. is he chasing...obviously. he bet cleveland to win the series and laid 4.3 to one. then to say it's 200 units on cleveland if they win tonight without even watching the game just sounds reckless.
paco on the other hand hasn't chimed in yet, so i'm thinking he likes the cavs. if he does come out on the cavs then that's very interesting. when he and lb disagree in the playoffs paco is miles ahead of the curve.
lb's record on 50x+ plays is outstanding. would i bet 50x or 100x on a play. never in a million years even if jesus himself came down and said he liked a certain side.
but the most interesting part is this: if boston loses it's ho-hum i can afford it and everybody says too bad, lb you'll get em next time. if boston wins the amount of ass-kissing and hero worshiping will reach obnoxious proportions. it's win-win no matter what happens.

#237Everyone keeps talking about how big LB's roll is but everything is relative. He is risking 85% of his NBA profit this year on one game. That is not good MM but at the end of the day if it hits then no one can say anything except genius ballsy call. I just can't support risking 331 units on two games if I am up 120 units for the whole year, it's insane to me regardless of the outcomes. I really hope for the board and LB's sake that it doesn't come down to 220 units on the Cavs. I will probably be taking the Celtics as well but for a measley 2 units lol.
Good luck and GO CELTICSScared money don't make money

#238How much is this biggest bet ever? It has to be at least 6 figures. And in the event it loses you have to make a 200X bet on the Cavs the next game. So you are looking at a 20 million bet on the Cavs next game if they win in Boston. Now why would a sane person bet 20 million on a Game 7 NBA game?Comment -

Each one have your own way to management your bank... I think that 100x play is more about the confidence than the value...
For me, this 100x is far way to be 10k and isn't a all in bet, but it's a big bet and I probable will bet... If Boston loses, I'm taking the responsabilite, LB is just giving he play, you follow if you want, and you don't need to bet 10k...
Just make your choice and stop to complain about others choice...Comment -
