Back to our Stern conspiracies.. You think Stern has been reading these boards? In the past the NBA has worked to extend series. I really don't see either series extending any furthur.


1) Utah- a decent team playing at home but they will have to be up alot heading into the 4Q to beat LA. LA smells this and if it's close they will take it..Besides, you can see it on Utah's face they know it' over so I wouldn't expect the kind of effort it will take to win. Also, with Utah's defense being what it is they will most likely never lead by many points so I think it come down to a close game and LA will close it out.

2) Atlanta- that's all there is to say.


You can parlay LA and Orl ML and get back over +200 comeback.. That is like getting LA at +200ML tonite. Will be real shocked to see Atlanta win

The Lakers lay down more than $2 whore in the reg. season, but I think they are done playing those games. I think they will welcome tonite's challenge of winning and wrapping it up on the road. It's always a challenge winning on the road agaisnt a decent Utah team at home and I think LA is up for it.

exactly my sentiments.. I think Cle/Bos is 7 games with Cle winning at home in 7. After both teams splitting at home I think they wrap it up by protecting HC...problem for Celtics is they only have 1 more at home

that series could go either way in the 7th game, cleveland has the clear advantage, with lebron on their side and HC, but 1 bad shooting night from the cavs, the series can go the celtics way

read that also.. I think tonite's game is the Lakers to lose if you feel me. I don't think Utah can win tonite, but the Lakers could lose if you know what I mean. Bottomline, in a close game the Lakers just know how to win and I can't see this game but being close late.

That is what I thought of as well and I saw them pick up the tempo after that quarter, I feel that LA will win this game tonight due to the fact they let Korver score 23 points on them and that will not happen again. If the bigs for LA dominate down low there is no way Utah will win the game. Maybe I feel this way because I am from Los Angeles, but the lakers look like to me that they came to play this series with intensity and determination.
