What's almost worse than these threads are the people who come in them saying 'bye', 'nice pick jackass' when the game's not even close to over. They look almost as foolish as the original poster when the play ends up winning.

Garnett is not even a 3rd the player he once was. Maybe not even that. I don't know if people remember but 6 years ago Garnett was the best offensive and defensive player in the league. MVP and a top 5 athlete who could also hit outside shots. He is nowhere close to that now, he is an outside shooter and smart player, thats it.

Pierce is not half the player he was only 2 years ago. 6 years ago Pierce was a top 5 scorer in the league and by far the best 4th quarter player, in fact the stats say he is the best 4th quarter player of all time.

Ray Allen is not a 3rd the player he was 5 years ago. He use to be an equal threat to drive, mid range and from 3.

Doc Rivers could be the worst coach in the NBA, other than Dantley and the Cavs coach Brown. Rivers won coach of the year when Pierce was still a great player and Allen was good and Garnett was ok. None of those players matter anymore and Rivers is horrible down the stretch, just like when he was a player.

Cavs are going to cruise to the finals before they reach any level of competition. No other game in this series will be close. They will beat the Magic in 4 games too. Howard is a one man team. Cavs are absolutely loaded to the gills.

Spurs vs Cavs in finals, Cavs winning in 5 games.

queester the cavs have: Lebron James, Antawan Jamison, Shaquille Oneal, Mo Williams, Dante West, Moon, Hickson, Varajou, Anthony Parker, and Ilgauskas. Off the top of my head I cannot remember a basketball team with that much talent.

Lakers of the 80's with Magic, Worthy, Kareem and Cooper may be the only team equal.

wile out is right except for:

1) mike brown isnt as bad as doc rivers...brown is a good defensive coach, his offense could use some work though...but he did lose kuester who i believe ran the offense
2) orlando is going to give the cavs a tough battle at the series will go at least 6. orlando is arguably the 2nd best team in the NBA behind the cavs

will beat the Magic in 4 games too LOL this is just crazy!! i dont even know if the cavs will even get pass the magic you might be a vet in the game but i play the game and no basketball and watch basketball and the magics are a matchup nightmare for the cavs! if the celtics wasnt so dumb and fouled shaq at the end of the game when he got the ball they would have won. a couple of balls just bounced to wrong way and went to cleveland it was a good win for them but they had some luck on there side to!

And about the coaches, I forgot about the Hawks Mike Woodson. OMFG that man is the worst in the NBA. Down the stretch the plan shifts from running to 1 on 1 and you better not pass the ball or Woodson will bench you. I don't care if they double smith at the 3 point line and Crawford is wide open for 3, Smith will go 1 on 3 and by the time he gets to the foul line I'm wondering if I would let Woodson coach a local 10 year old rec team.

queester I played basketball for years. I played every sport for years. I was the first option, averaged about 17 a game. I had a teammate who played weekly with/against doctor J and Jason Williams (black guy who is in jail now, NJ Nets) in Hilton Head SC. He has video of dunking on Williams twice in a row down the court. 6-4 white guy. Said Williams would hit the woods to snort coke several times during the pickup games. I was the first option before him. I played soccer, averaged 3-4 goals a game. Played football, was the 2nd option, starting halfback. QB sneak, option and halfback off tackle, HB sweep were 90% of our plays. Played tennis, beat a top 10 ranked player in the state of Georgia. My cousin won the high school Georgia state championship in tennis 2 years in a row (singles, not a high school team effort). I played baseball and although that was my weakest sport, I made all stars every year I played and that was before they took 1 player from every team to play all stars. I am 32 now and drugs have slowed me down but give me 2 months to get in shape and I would challenge anybody here at SBR to an all out athletic contest including lifting weights, running, and playing different sports. Whatever you want to do.
