Talk me off the ledge and out of making a big play on Denver tonight.
Please.

They're my big play for today.
Was hoping someone was going to talk ME off the ledge.
They CANNOT screw you 4 times in a row NoC. Well, I guess they can but this time I don't think they will.

Adrian Dantley is my kryptonite. I'm 1-8 either backing or fading the Nugs since he took over.

NoCo, I've kept hoping the Nuggets will turn things around, but watching them play, they aren't just losing, they look just lost out there. No Coach, no homecourt, and playing in UTAH's arena against a beasting Deron -- I have to play Utah here.

Really, when you think about it, there's no reason to back Denver here other than stupid trends from past NBA playoff series. Like you said, we should all be drooling over the short number for one of the best home teams in basketball and one of the better coaches in basketball against freakin' Dantley.

Yeah, I never consider past trends. Who knows though, it may come down to Billups. The guy can go 1-13 or hit 4 dagger 3's in a row.

Yeah, but Billups played well in Game 3 and they were run out of the gym.
Carmelo needs to get his act together. Utah has no one that can guard him, yet he's only 20-for-46 since going ballistic in Game 1. Plus, it depends on which J.R. Smith shows up.

Atm the Mavs are running away with this one. Does that mean the Nuggets fall to the Jazz?

Spurs will come back Pride. Don't count 'em out yet.
NoC - There are 6 million reasons why we shouldn't take the Nuggets and 3 off the top of my head why we should: Billups, Carmelo, David Stern.

Yeah, but I could actually see the NBA backing Denver here -- probably wants the most fast-paced and entertaining first-round series outside of LAL/OKC to go the distance.

The spurs can definitely mount a comeback. With my luck the denver game is going to be a blowout for the jazz or it will be a nailbiter the whole way which will make the bet null since I will probably die from a heart attack anyways.

Exactly, that's what I meant! One would think that it's in everyone's best interest for Denver to get this one.
I'm on the Nuggs. May be the only one but I'll take my chances, especially after last night.

I am. Not sure if Paco is. If LB's playing today, I think he will be based on his double up theory from the other night.
Not sure if anyone else is. Hate backing them, but I feel today's the right time to do it.
Are you shoe? I don't like seeing that surrender flag.

Billups will deliver as usual.. Melo is the X factor here.

Well if he can keep his butt out of foul trouble this time and drive to the basket, you'd think he'd be able to pull through. 4 FT attempts the last game Plus too many Denver turnovers and the bench needs to step it up if they want a chance in this one. Only bloody Anthony and Billups in double digits. Tragic.
If Anthony shows up and not get trapped into foul trouble, Billups continues to be a gun, they shut down Williams and Martin continues to rebound, they have a chance. Plus the Stern factor.
But again, I rationally know all this may be difficult but I am still going to take the Nuggs on a wing and a prayer.
