this is so frustrating, like waiting in line for a date with Halle Berry. My computer is so slow and I have to wait for this page to load. By the time it does, the game goes off before I can see the magic picks. Oh well, maybe some other time I will get lucky and get the plays in time. Like Xmas morning waiting for the gifts, then you get Coal. LOL

LB...there are ignorant people out there who refuse to listen....fortunately, most people understand that the majority of books allow plays to be input a few minutes after tipoff. I wish more people realized this....but they don't.
Keep doing what you are doing LB...whoever called you the "People's Champ" is dead on....you don't give a fk about what other people think which is great...

every1 fuked it up for themselves... hahaha... in reality i think the website is slow not because everyone is looking at this specific thread but this is when a lot of other games start as well. the servers here prob just cant take it. if you look at the main forum u got like 400 people viewing each section around this time.
i know this cause i was checking the CBB thread and that was slow as well. so LB its the servers in whole not people just accessing your thread...Comment -

For goodness sake people listen to what LB says, you are going to ruin a good thing here, no continual refreshing of the page, as i said last night the easiest thing to to do is to subscribe to the thread, everyone visit the thread about 15 minutes before game time then NO-ONE post or refresh the page and just sit with their email open and the pics will be emailed straight to you, thats how i got mine tonight again.

LB I understand your frustration but you have to realize that there are a lot of non posters here tailing. With so many people viewing the thread and pressing f5 say every 30 seconds this will happen.

I know it has been suggested before but using a social networking site like Twitter would help alleviate the problem. It's one extra step for posting picks but it would save you the "where are your picks? I want your picks/ Any picks for x game" problem. It'd also prevent people from needing to refresh.
I know it'd be kind of a pain in the ass. Just a suggestion.Comment -

Yeah it's true that no matter what everyone is going to have to refresh at some point. It's the same with anywhere you go online. Any hot commodity is going to be hammered especially if it's on making money. I know you're doing us a huge favor but to try and ask hundreds, if not thousands of people to not hit refresh is something no one on earth can do.Comment -

Its not just the people refreshing your thread LB, the whole forum in general slows down before gametime, a lot of people log on for picks in different sportsComment
