    Nuggets @ Bobcats 12/8
Not sure what the line is, but this seems to be a good spot to choose the Bobcats.

I love the Nuggets, but to bet them in this spot is iffy.

    On their 3rd road game.
    They beat the Spurs.
They played hard to beat the 76ers today in a physical game.
Going to Charlotte to play the Bobcats on back-to-back days in a 4pm game.
Bobcats play better at home (7-3 record)
    Bobcats have 2 days rest.
Nuggets, especially Billups, will have Detroit on his mind when they play thursday.

    Now I ask...

Can the Nuggets be beat by an inferior team? The Nuggets have lost to the Clippers and to the Tiimberwolves last mid-late month.

Can the Bobcats beat a better team in post-Stephen Jackson era? They beat the Cavaliers.

With all these factors in mind, I'll gladly put my $ on the Bobcats. If Denver can overcome the forces against them and come out a winner and cover their spread(should be -3.5 or -4 i think) then

im leaning towards the denver, like the celtics im going keep on riding them. They've been hot even though the lack of the first 3 qtr's today. Just to play it safe i'm taking denver on the moneyline to play it safe.

I will get on Bobcats for a minimum of +4. Hope the line comes out higher though.

some pretty solid analysis and logic....but to me, that also means no-play. nuggets are a way better team with so much scoring power. unless you ever get somethin like lakers +10 in LA against em, you probably shouldnt ever really bet against them.

Billups is shooting well and that's enough for me to take Denver. If Carmelo turns it around tomorrow Denver will blow them out. I think there's a good chance he does just that with Billups leadership. I'm taking Denver! BOL!

I can see both sides of the argument in this game, but don't see enough reason to put money on either. I think I would lean towards Charlotte in a tight game if I had to choose.

However, Denver B2B on the road, playing against a rested Charlotte team at home smells like an under to me. Charlotte still ranks 29th in offense, despite their improvement. Denver on the other hand, while very capable overall, plays a very slow paced game (3rd slowest in the NBA), relying on their high % shooting from the field. Against the Bobcats solid defense (ranked #1 overall, and allowing the 3rd lowest FG%, 5th lowest 3PT%, & 2nd lowest FT%), Denver is not going to be able to score at their normal efficiency.

I have this game capped at 194, so the Under 204 looks great to me.

That's like judging a football game based on the first play TD. Want to look at the Halftime Line. Hope Denver is losing by that time
