First off, here are a few trends to why I like this play

NJ are 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. NBA Atlantic.

NJ are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Sat. games.

NY are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall.

Alright, we have the win-less Nets sitting at 0-12 playing the visiting Knicks, who also have been struggling with a mark of 2-9. A few key factors to why I like this match-up are the Nets play well against the Atlantic division, they are at home in an early, Saturday tip, Devin Harris is back, Knicks are 1-3 on the road, and are giving up 109.5 points per game.

I wrote all that to get to the point that when a team is struggling, familiarity, can help stop the bleeding and create confidence in a Nets season that has had none to this point. The Nets are aware they dominate the Atlantic in the past and once the buckets start dropping early on against a piss poor Knicks D, the Nets will have all the confidence they need to get over the hump and pick up their first win of the season in front of the hometown crowd.

I'm not big on write-ups, just wanted to give you a feel on where I'm coming from in this game.

I actually liked the over too a little bit because you have 2 shit teams that should light it up, but found these trends that's making me stay away from the total.

Under is 7-1 in NY last 8 vs. NBA Atlantic.

Under is 10-4 in NY last 14 road games.

Under is 7-2 in NJ last 9 Sat. games.

I think you need to stop relying on these trends.. Nets 10-1-1 ATS against Atlantic Division... lmao so what? They're 0-12 this year! None of that is relevant. How are the NEts 6-2 in their last 8 saturday games yet they're 0-12 this year?

Two tanking teams just play the OVer
