Only reason why I might not play this is because this is SAC's opener. What do you guys think? Gay/Mayo also had a argument in the 4Q last night but they are all saying its a non issue.

i personally wouldnt spend your 8pts on a over under. those 8pts can disappear in 3 trips down the court. i want to expand on this idea and why i feel like this, but im kinda ****ed up right now. but i love the memphis 1st quarter pick by everyone. im wondering how others feel about teasing the over under???

think it depends on the teams and the line but what you said makes sense...doesn't seem like you are getting the most value at of the 8 pts

Looking ahead to tomorrow, the Clippers and the Kings are sticking out like sore thumbs. Might take them with the Rockets in an 8 pt teaser, or just play them both straight up to win, or maybe all 3 plays.

Game: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Sacramento Kings Game Time: 11/2/2009 10:05:00 PM Prediction: Sacramento Kings Reason: I'm playing on SACRAMENTO. The situation favors the home team in this one. The Kings are off to a tough 0-3 start. However, all three of those games came on the road. The first game came at Oklahoma City vs. an improving team playing its home opener. The most recent two came against tough Western Conf. opponents (Spurs and Hornets) which both made the playoffs last year. Now, the Kings take a step down in class and get to play their home opener - note that they've been MUCH better here than on the road over the years. Additionally, the Kings had yesterday off while the Grizzlies played an up-tempo game in the high altitude of Denver. In addition to playing the second of back to back games, this will also be the Grizzlies fourth game in the first six nights of the season. Although the same can be said for the Kings, the fact that they had last night off should make them the "fresher" team. Note that the Grizzlies are just 3-17 SU (8-12 ATS) the last 20 times that they played the second of b2b games. The Grizzlies won here last spring. However, prior to that, they'd lost 20 in a row here. Whether or not Iverson suits up, I expect the Kings to resume their homecourt domination in this series, treating the fans to a victory on opening night at Arco Arena 7*

I might have a 2H play on the late games, but no other bets pending except my teaser.

I can't take the Kings after thinking about it because they're simply a bad team and anything can happen when 2 bad teams play one another. I'd be breaking one of my rules. I need to see how the 1H goes before I decide if there is a 2H opportunity.

hmm. in a close game if one team has dominated at the FT line 1st I always bet the other team 2nd half. without their FTs utah is down by 9 right now...I don't see them continuing to get all the calls 2nd half. why do you like utah 2nd half? then again, I'm not watching the game. lol

I've watched as many Rockets games in the last 20 years as just about anybody. The Rockets should be up 20 but they're only up 6 because of the officials.

The 27.5 line for the 2H is usually a trap line. They combined for 42 pts in the 1H and surely Joe Public is thinking scoring 4 TD's in the 2H is a no brainer. It's a no play for me but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go under, especially if the line closes at 27.5

for 1st Q tonight, I love memphis pk. they have been extremely strong 1st Q, even dominating denver. with allen iverson back in, i love them to role over the kings. they'll come out swinging. AI is a very competitive athlete and has put a lot of pressure on himself. After missing the first 3 games I think he's ready to come out and do some work, especially against the royal shitties.

If Utah had won the game it would have been a decent day for me. However, Utah decided to lay an egg and it's a bad day.
