just throwing some stuff out there after doing a little research.

minnesota was awesome (11-3) at covering spreads on the road with no rest last season (avg spread being +8). they stunk at winning, but they kept it close. while the clippers were terrible (8-18) at covering spreads against teams with no rest.

edit: beat me to it. i like minnesota +a lot. don't think the clippers can beat them that bad.

Yeah, after I thought about it some more and saw the Clippers -8.5 I knew Minnesota with the extra 8 was a better play.

I agree when was the last time the Clippers won by double digits lol. And why is the line high anyway. I know Blake Griffin isn't back. But I'm loving Memphis I might jump on the + moneyline. I think Iverson will have a good game in his debut. But I have to check the record of the Grizzlies on back to back nights.

Anyone feeling the Bobcats tomorrow at home against the Nets? I saw that devin harris is out so even at -7.5 for the cats is that straight cash or should i still buy points if i plan to tease them?

The Bobcats should win they have enough weapons to beat the Nets. The Nets main guy now is Brooke Lopez and Charlotte has more than enough big man to keep him in check. Guys like Tyson Chandler, Nazr Mohammed, and Diop. I have no idea if they will cover lol. But if you tease them you should get -2 which is sweet. The Nets bench is horrific. I think D.J. Augustin, Gerald Henderson, and Vladimir Radmanovic will have a good contribution. But for another game to tease... to be honest I think all the other games can go either way except for Utah. Mehmet Okur is back and I expect him to contribute big. And the Rockets aren't that great on the road especially in Utah. I like Memphis because of the value. But the only obvious winners I see is the Bobcats and Utah. So I might take a two team parlay, play on Memphis, or pass. Again the other games you can't really trust neither teams to win. If you look at it a lot of sorry teams are playing tomorrow...

Hey roag, been gone all weekend (Halloween parties!) but i got back just in time for halftime tonight and pounded lakers 3rd Q. best 3rd Q team in the league! only NBA play today was a win, so that's a plus! I also had houston big NFL, and quite heavy on a houston/colts/san diego teaser. good day for me! had the cards, though.

anyway, lets get back to rippin this up!

It's hard to guess what's going to happen when 2 bad teams play. I don't play these types of games.

Ok, I did play the original 4 teams above last nite and won. 2-1 payoff. And if I had been betting straight I would have lost 3 out of 4. By a TOTAL of 2 points.

for 1st Q tonight, I love memphis pk. they have been extremely strong 1st Q, even dominating denver. with allen iverson back in, i love them to role over the kings. they'll come out swinging. AI is a very competitive athlete and has put a lot of pressure on himself. After missing the first 3 games I think he's ready to come out and do some work, especially against the royal shitties.

agreed I think Sacramento being the favorite is a sucker bet like how the Eagles were +1 vs. the Giants.
