The Shock were a +130 dog before the series started. They're a +220 dog for game 3. Why is that strange?

A $50 bet on the Shock before the series started paid about $65.

Assuming the Shock win in three games, if you put $50 on the Shock for both game 2 and 3 the payout will be $60 (you'll win $110 on game three minus the $50 you lost for game 2).

Something has definitely changed the way the books are computing the odds for this series! I wonder if Nolan's injury is more serious than we know...

There's definitely something serious here but I don't know what it is.

I considered taking the Sparks and the Fever for their series.

But, if you like the Shock for the series take the ML for games 2 and 3 and you'll get almost the same payout (much better if they win game 2) you would have gotten if you bet them before the series.

Doesn't that seem strange to you? It's like the books are saying the Shock's game one win is irrelevant. That's REALLY unusual. I think something's up.

Only if you took the Shock in Game 1.

The next 2 games are in Atlanta which had a good home record this season. The public thinks that Atlanta can sweep Detroit and have inflated the line for Game 2. If Atlanta wins Game 2, I'm all over Detroit for Game 3, but don't expect the line to be -6 again. If there's a Game 3, the line will be around -2 no matter how badly Detroit loses (if they lose tonight which I'm not sure they will).

I'll bet you all your points the line for game 3 never hits as low as Atlanta -2 at any sportsbook listed on SBR lines. If you accept we can use pico's service for our bet.

              I'll back up Fearless here.

You can have all my points if it is -2.

LOL I'm only giving my opinion. I think the line will be around -2 (could be -3) for a Game 3. If you guys want points that badly heck I'll give them to you for free.

My leans are Atlanta and LA. I'm considering both seriously.

                        I'm on ATL and SEA

everyone is thinking that LA will sweep SEA but they are a different team at home, although I expect LA to take the series win in game 3

If Lauren Jackson was playing I'd like Seattle but without her they're a different team as well. I expect LA to win.

That's the problem. I've been screwed out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by family and friends, and it drives her nuts. But I don't care or let it eat at me, it's not worth it. I still have a nice life and can't complain.

                                                Good karma and vibes

If Sue Bird wasn't cold shooting 1-9 it wouldve been a different story. Key Arena
is one of the hardest places to win cos the crowd is wild, they hoisted a jersey for the fans as the 6th man on the court. If Seattle win tonight, I will pound LA in the next game.

Playoffs are tricky, maybe it's best to stick to totals.

Looking ahead, Phoenix heavy tomorrow. They've just sold tickets for charity for $1 that's gotta fill up the arena like crazy.

But Diana Taurasi has her court hearing today so might
play up on her mind on Sat if things don't go well. Still cappie can lift the team, she was cold tonight

Phoenix minus anything plus the over tomorrow. The only thing that worries me is the total will probably be 180+, and I think Phoenix will destroy them which means it could be a 95-75 game and not go over the total.
