they should settle tha handicap bet as a winner

In the event of retirement, disqualification or change of surface mid-match, bets will be void unless there is no conceivable way the set and/or match could be played to its natural conclusion without unconditionally determining the result of that market.

Great day so far boys, un-fortunately Tipsarevic quitting with 1 game to go cost us a nice winner on the +2.5 but most books should pay out on the m/l (seeing as 1st set was completed). Big play on Ferrer just cashed. Hantuchova up a break in the 3rd. So far just the 1 unit loss on young Eysseric. Querry and the over (Querry/Llodra) still to come as well as 1 unit on Gulbis in Eckental challenger.

Yesterday we wnt 3-4-1 in the tennis for +1.7 Units. Should have been a great day, but instead was just good. The Hantuchova choke (up a double break in the third), The Tipsarevic controversy, things didn't exactly fall our way, but still we prevail from hitting the big 4 unit play on Ferrer at +127.

    Tennis YTD 12-12-4 (+2.9 Units)

    NBA YTD 2-1 (+0.35 Units)

Note - I grade the Jerzy Janowicz play as a win on the m/l and a refund on the +2.5. The main 2 books I use for tennis (Pinnacle and Sportingbet) both grade a result as a winner as long as the first set is complete. So to be fair if I make a selection and they retire after the first set is complete I will of course grade it as a loss.

Update - Still gathering knowledge and analysing early performances in the NBA, so focus is still squarely on tennis at the moment.

Tough day today. Both the Paris masters semi's are tricky match-ups and we will have to be very sharp to find the right angles (if any?)

Do have 3 plays to begin with...

WTA tournament of champions (Indoor hard)
    Semi Final 1

    Nov 3 2012 1445 GMT

    Caroline Wozniacki v Tsevetana Pironkova

    Wozniacki -6 games +101 (Pinnacle) 2.5 Units

I rarely play favorites having to cover more than 5 games, but Wozza is in great form and Pironka-donk is not. Yes it's that simple. Consider this, wozza's 3 matches in this tournament.

    1. Su-Wei Hseih - Wozza wins in 2 and covers ATS by an 8 game margin
    2. Roberta Vinci - Wozza covers ATS and wins by an 8 game margin.

    3. Daniella Hantuchova - Wozza wins in 3 and does not cover the spread.

    Pironka-Donk's 3 matches

    1. Beats Jie Zheng but does not cover ATS (-1 games and she still managed to win)
    2. Loses to Kirilenko and does not cover ATS (-7 games)
    3. Loses to Petrova in 3 sets and still does not cover ATS (-6 games)

Can somebody please explain to me how Pironkova made the semi's?

    Nov 3 2012 1700 GMT
    Semi Final 2

    Nadezda Petrova v. Roberta Vinci

    Vinci m/l -114 (Pinnacle) 1 Unit

Ok so the public play seems to be Vinci (she opened at +114 and has been crunched into -114), and alot of my tennis buddies like the Italian battler as well. No need for alarm bells, as i think everyone has got it right for once (some of you will no doubt be thinking auto fade). No denying she has been in nice form, in both singles (and doubles with Eranni) lately. I'm a big Vinci fan and have been wagering on her alot recently, and I see no reason to stop now. This may be Indoor hard but the courts are very slow and will definitely favor the better mover Vinci, with her tricky slices and low balls. I can see her frustrating Petrova with long points and forcing the Russian to hit for the edges = high U/E count? Petrova when in form is very dangerous, and while I am not convinced she is in great form, we will play it small and stick with 1 unit.

    Eckental Challenger Germany (Carpet)
    Ernests Gulbis v Dominic Meffert

    Gulbis 2-0 Sets -125 (Sportingbet) 1 Unit

Ok for the fourth day in a row we ride Gulbis. Yesterday we played the m/l against the dangeros Zemelja and lucky we did as Gulbis won in 3. Today we go back to playing 2-0 as once again we face a mis-match. Here's the thing with Gulbis. When he first burst onto the scene, people were expecting big things from the immensly talented Latvian. then it became evident that he was lazy, had a playboy attitude and many other issues. Many punters have black-listed Gulbis because you never know which Ernests' will show up for a match. There is the guy that can and has beaten Federer, Del Potro, Berdych, etc and there is the guy that loses to loca tennis pro's as a -700 favorite. Ernests has shown in this tournament that he is actually here to win and therefor my confidence in him has grown as the tournament has progressed.

Probably 1 or 2 more to follow. Leaning towards JJ +2.5 against Simon but need to think more??

    Paris Masters 1000

    Nov 3 1405 GMT
    David Ferrer v Michael llodra

    Ferrer -3 Games -116 (Pinnacle) 1 Unit
    Ferrer 2-0 Sets +115 (Pinnacle) 1 Unit

David Ferrer has won 8 in a row when Opponent is a Big Server.
David Ferrer has won 8 in a row on Indoor Hard.

Michael Llodra has lost 7 of last 8 when priced as Moderate Underdog (+200 - +499).

Personally I wouldn't go higher than -6 mate. I see at Bet365 -6.5 $2.10 and +6.5 $1.66. I would just wait for the line to adjust to -6 and take it at no worse than $1.88 (-113)

    Futures Bet

    Paris Masters 1000

Tournament Winner - David Ferrer -126 (Pinnacle) 3 Units

Amazingly David has never won a Masters 1000 title and this is obviously his best chance ever. Unlike the rest of these clowns who may have tanked for extra rest time before the world tour finals, Ferrer is a warrior, never quits, he hustles for every point even when 40-0 down. Cannot see anyone else winning this tournament. Biggest challenge will come tonight from Llodra.

I like this bet. I think Ferrer has the game to break LLodra with well placed passing shots when LLodra comes to the net, and will win a majority of rallies on his own serve.

Wow unlike the boys pironka-donk showed the heart to fight through 2 medical time-outs and finish the match, good girl.

Great start today gang, 2-0 so far!

Wozza covers the -6 no worries and Gulbis delivers 2-0 for the 4th day in a row. No surprise that we will be on him again tommorow in the final (providing the odds are acceptable).

Right 2 down and 2 to go. Can't wait for Llodra v Ferrer match.

*Might have 1 play in the NBA tomorrow later.
