What amazes me is I was catching Pinny running a -108/-108 ML live in the 2Q vs. +110/-140 at BetOnline.

What in the hell was Pinny doing offering a -108 ML on Boston with them down 5 in the second quarter?

Yep. Public was all over Boston full game, Boston 2H, and I'm sure people live betted the hell out of Boston as well.

Again, no one was really on Philly except idiots like me.

    Boston was 68% spread/81% ML.

Curious to see the line for game 6 of Sixers/Celts. I still think this series goes 7 games.

and then look at the over... they put the total so low that literally one good quarter and it flies over.. like tonight.

    nba totals are impossible.

if its a blowout, the winning team plays no d so it goes over.

if its close, its a foul fest and it goes over.

    never forgot i had under 186 lakers/warriors.

over 60 point scored in the 4th and it lands on 187

and the year before kings/mavs 72 4th quarter points to put it over by one...

Do you even know where those numbers come from? How big of a sample size are those numbers? What difference does it make anyway. Obviously if anything more people are going to bet on Boston.

If you can show me any reputable site that had even 50% on the Philly spread -- let alone the ML -- I will literally never post about public betting % again. Ever.

What does 50% on Philly spread have to do with anything? What does any percentage have to do with anything. All I'm saying is you put way too much stock in those numbers. They don't mean shit.

This discussion about public betting % is a red herring anyway. You claim Boston was the play all along, yet Pinny was offering the Boston ML live at -108 when they were only down 5 in the 2Q. Why?

I don't know I don't remember the point in the game. There's no basis for live plays, that's really just a thing where you look at it and have a gut feeling about whether the books are taking a side. Boston ML was hit throughout yesterday and today and there was always plenty of juice on sixers +5.5. I thought Boston would win by 7 or so but the blowout did not surprise me.

Sixers were the square side. Only reason was that pinny never moved and cleaned up on juice. Public numbers don't mean squat. Public always takes bos.

Why was Pinny offering Boston ML at -108 down 5 in the 2Q? It was -140 at BOL, who you claim mirrors Pinny.

Yes. It won't be the first time. How much of the actual $$ was on sixers?

True, but you'd think Pinny would have a sharper take than freakin' BetOnline.

You tell me LB: you're telling me bigger, sharper money was on Philly? Why would you say that?
