    2009 WNBA Thread-Lady Ballin Tyme
Depending on how interest I am, I will make this my Daily WNBA season thread until NFL preseason starts in two month. Handicapping the WNBA is similar to College basketball, line wise. The games are 40 minutes long and the total being in the 120-150 range. Plus the balls is smaller, so don't expect them to miss many free throws. I had some early success in my first year handicapping this sports last year before being abruptly interrupted by the Olympics. Looking to regain some of that hot start back.

    Saturday's Plays 6/7/09

Sacramento Mornarch -2 vs Seattle Storms
Sac is a good home team that will going against a decent Seattle squad, who lost a couple of key inside players this year.

    Connecticut Suns
    -7.5 vs Washington Mystic
The Suns were one of the hottest team last year before, struggling down the stretch after returning from the Olympic but still made it in the playoffs. I look for them to dominate the worst team in the WNBA last Mystics who will be under a new head coach.

Going start posting WNBA picks for the hell of it starting tomorrow, seems like I got an idea where what team capabilities are after 3 weeks.

              Thursday Play

Phoenix +3.5 Mercury at Washington Mystic
The Mercury plays just like their NBA counter part, run and gun. Phoenix is either going to win by 5 or keep this game within a bucket. They're offense is going to be too tough for Washington to sustain any kind of big lead, especially with the dynamic scoring duo of Taurasi and Cappie Poindexter.

                Friday Night Special

Chicago Sky +4.5 vs Indiana Fever

Gotta like this emerging young Sky team playing at home, lead by Superstar Candince Dupree.
