I love the Denver ML. They have them where they want them. After routing them the previous game they will go for the jagular tonight knowing they can kill the beast at home in a few days. Lakers only led for a few minutes in all 4 games whereas the Nuggets squandered leads in all 4 games. The Lakers are mentally and physically exhausted and will collapse tonight in front of their stupid fans.

this is exactly what i have seen. the nuggets are clearly, not just somewhat, but clearly the better team and the lakers are very lucky this is tied 2-2 and not 3-1 nuggets maybe 4-0 and done already. but, it is 2-2 and i still believe as i said earlier in the thread that the winner of tonight's gm will win the series.

Yea, but you can also look at the fact that the Lakers could easily be up 3-1 as well. This series has just been a great series all around with close games down the stretch. I am taking the Lakers -6 at home as I feel this series is very similar to the Rockets series and will roll with that theory.

the difference is that the nuggets are way better than the rockets, and their largest margin of loss this postseason was by 6 points...and their entire frontcourt had to foul out for that to happen.

i'll either tease it to denver +11, or stay away.

why do u say the nuggets are way better than the rockets. the only difference is that the rockets played the lakers first otherwise we would be talking about the rockets-lakers series right now- that was the nuggets last hurrah- they wont win twice in a row wout melo playing big- the rockets had better defenders against kobe and arron brooks is a sick guard- plus they also had a post player like scola and adelman is a better coach than karl and i think the rockets were deeper than denver considering all the injuries they had- the lakers will tonite maybe not in blowout fashion but that doesnt matter- lakers ml is the way to go

melo was 3 for 16 shooting and they still won by 19. melo had a gimpy ankle and was sick during the gm, he needed an IV at halftime just to come out and shoot 3 for 6 in the second half and have some nice assists, played decent defense too. denver is way better than the rockets and this is not even a discussion

Better scorers and better at home- yes.

On the question of being able to better defend Kobe, not even close, Rockets had much better defenders.

yes, no question about it. but denvers combo of offense and enough defense > houston's crappy offense and good defense on kobe, the nuggets can actually win this series, while i never felt at all, not even after houston stole gm 1 and even before gm 7, that houston was going to win 4 out of 7 against the lakers. the nuggets can win this series in 6 if they win in staples tonight, and are also much more capable of winning a gm 7 in staples than houston was. just my opinion.

denver had a better record. better playoff record. their point differential was historic through the first 2 rounds. they have a finals mvp, 2 time allstar forward, and a very well rounded lineup.
who said melos going to be terrible for the rest of the series? he's dominated in LA. i wouldnt be counting on another 3/16 night to get a win, if i were the lakers.
theres no question denvers deeper. it doesnt matter what might have been with tmac/yao...it is what it is. this nuggets team has the best bench in the league, that rockets team had lowry and landry.

lakers havent shown they can blow the nuggets out. that doesnt bode well when taking a line of -6, or even the moneyline...because considering how the series has played out, this game will come down to the last minute...and then all it takes is one missed shot or turnover to make the difference. trevor ariza cant steal 3 clutch inbounds passes in one series, can he?

the final 2 fouls called on nene were absolutely atrocious, other than those 2 i thought it was officiated pretty well, problem is that nene is by far the best interior defender for the nuggets, the tallest biggest body they have
