LA/DEN Game 3

What do you guys think? Picking Denver and the points worked out the first 2 games and I like their momentum coming back home. However, I have a feeling that Kobe is just so pissed off that I can see him scoring 40+ and the Lakers winning by 1 or 2 in a close game.

Do you take LA on the ML? Or, does DEN have enough steam at home to win ATS? Or, just putting a large amount of cash on DEN ML?

Personally, I'm feeling DEN because of the home court, Carmelo is just playing out of his mind and I think he knows he has such a size and strength advantage over most of the Lakers roster and will continue to punish them, and although I think Kobe will have a great game, I still think Denver's frontline poses many problems for the Lakers and J.R. Smith's hot shooting and extra 3 pointers are the difference in the game.

Thanks general, I salute you. This forum is pretty sick. I've been following it for a couple months just for extra input on bets and I decided to finally join.

You know I have the same inkling as well that it will be a 1 or 2 point game. I'm most likely going to bet DEN on the money line but I will wait till' tomorrow to see if there is any movement just before tip-off.

Yeah definitely, I think that could easily happen. Derek Fisher will continue to get exploited by Billups and Bynum has done absolutely nothing to help LA. The Laker's role players have been nowhere to be found except for Shannon Brown. I actually find it quite comical that players like Sasha Vujacic and Luke Walton make more money than Chris Paul.

I might sprinkle a couple crumbs on a DEN parlay with the points and the over/under, as well as a money line bet.

they've been a 3rd quarter team at home for awhile. usually get off to a funky start until smith/bird come in and the crowd gets into it.

nuggets havent lost at home in 10 weeks. their closest playoff margin was +12 points.

they've covered the spread in all 12 playoff games (or 11-1, if you took denver +1.5 in that dallas game before it moved to +2.5)

they won their last home game against the lakers by ~10 iirc

you can see fatigue in kobe trying to guard melo/billups and do it all on offense in games 1 & 2, immediately after a 7 game series. now add 5200 feet.

Denver beat la at home... there going to win by 20+ at home court trust me lakers dont play good on the road especially with these guys the line is 3.5 right now it's about 4 am est atm so i expect it to go up to around 5 or 6 tip off so all yous better jump on it

JR has yet to really even get going in this series...I think he will be the X-factor in this game. Kleiza really lifted the team last game with JR and Nene being as good as invisible. Nugs are great at home. Love the focus/determination that the Nuggets are showing and Melo has looked like a whole new player than he was in past playoff years. Lean towards Denver...think it will be another tight game so I will probably wait until the half for anything.

JR Smith has been nowhere. kleiza finally getting some attention, good for him, i like his height and sweet touch. solid player, good offensive sense, but defense can be improved, euro player are often soft in defense.

series have been close for both east and west, never know how the game will turnout

I'm on the Nugget's LARGE... If the game was an early tip I might lean with LA but for a evening game with the fans already liquored up I expect Denver to come out hard and maintain. I see them covering the 1st quarter, the 1st half and the game. In addition, they are going to absolutely cream the 2nd half line as the Laker's will fade in the altitude.

I actually expected the home team to win every game in this series, so I liked Lakers in 7. Now, I am still happy to have gotten +126, as I would put the odds at Denver -115 to win series at this point.

After seeing what Lebron did last night with the Cavs you know Kobe took note of that and will be on his game tonight. I think the Lakers are in a good spot here. They don't wanna fall behind 2-1, and then have to must win next game or else the series is close to over. Sometimes you play better on the road without the stress of having to play well in front of your homecourt. It is also an extra incentive when on the road to come out and play well just to stick it to the fans. Be careful with Denver tonight.

Wow it seems like EVERYONE on this forum except the lakerboy lol is on the Nuggets tonight. But why is the line so low? For everything the quarter, pointspread, and etc. Is it too good to be true?
