    Billups is way too hyped
All the media has gone crazy over Billups like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. The nuggets were good before he got there all he is is a warden for all those punks and thugs that play for denver. Karl couldn't do it on his own so he got an assistant. By the way despite Billups winning that 1 title he must be the man when it comes to losing big games because his pistons found ways to lose to San An and Miami that were ridiculous. His media blitz is sickening considering he isnt even the best player on the team. He made the Nuggets better this year but the reality was that they kept getting knocked out in the first round because they played better teams like san an and la not norleans. And trust me he wouldnt have won them those series.

Yea I am not going to call Billups overhyped at all. He is a solid PG who was nicknamed "Mr. Big Shot" for a reason. He carried a Pistons team to one of the greatest finals upsets of all time. He provides leadership to a team which is something that the Pistons missed when he left and the Nuggets got when he came to them. That isn't even mentioning the fact that losing to that San Antonio team wasn't bad considering San Antonio was VERY good.

Naw, Billups is not overhyped. Look at what he did to to this Denver team. They went from a mediocre Western Conference team to a legit contender after he came over in the trade. His presence on the court and his leadership is far more valuable than the stats he puts up on a nightly basis.

Shocking someone name "lakerboy" would make this post. That hurts some of the validity of what your saying. Maybe Kobe is the over hyped one, he never won anything without the big man. This year could make two years he lost with the most talented team.

You're entitled to your opinion but Billups isn't overhyped, IMHO. You only have to llook at the Pistons and Nuggets pre- and post-Billups to see why he's getting all that media attention.

Kyle, your argument is not even valid either. No one can win it by themselves. Shaq never won anything without Kobe or Wade either. Garnett never won without Pierce and vice versa.

How can someone go from being underrated B4 the start of the playoffs, to being overhyped one game into the Conf. Finals??? You know what..... this thread's title is overly bias. Yeah you Lakerboy. When you make it deep into the playoffs for 7 years straight, you're doing something right. B-B-B Billups BIOTCHES

But I'm still on Lakers -5.5

As a Laker fan, Billups worries me more than Anthony.

Det with Billups Top 4 team every year. Without 15th maybe 16th.

Denver with out Billups 12th to 15th. With top 4.

Doesnt take a genius to figure this one out.

Nuggets were losing to the Clippers in the playoffs without Billups. And no accident Pistons got swept this post season without him.
