    Spurs/Mavericks
Are the Spurs going through one of their long droughts on the offensive end or are the Mavericks actually playing defense on the road?

Its just the spurs fcking themselves. I'm watching on espn right now and Mavs are not playing defense, its just that no one is stepping up on the other side (are we going to see 2 or more home upsets in the first day of the playoffs?).

Spurs do look out of sync on offense. I can't believe how many offensive rebounds they've given up on the defensive end either.

I have no clue why Matt Bonner even gets any playing time. Sure, hes had a couple out of 82 games where hes hit a few 3s in a row, but he cant defend, rebound or put up consistent numbers worth a daym.

I wonder the same thing. I guess he's a role player but even then, his shot is ugly and he can't play any D, which is something the Spurs pride themselves on. He's better playing Gooden or Kurt Thomas out there. At least they'll rebound and play physical on both ends of the floor.

Absolutely. Anyone is a role player playing the front line with Duncan but he does NOTHING to be even considered a role player. Wake the fk up Popovich.

Yeah, I don't know what Pops is thinking. He's probably using him to "spread the floor" because that would give more room for Duncan to operate underneath and give Parker more options when he drives to the hoop. I was watching the game and I have no idea why Bonner was guarding Nowitzki one on one. The Spurs will get burned every single time if that continues.
