I'll be posting plays for the playoffs on this singular thread for the next couple of months. Yea I'm fresh of losing a challenge(insert joke), but I won money during that time which I put on some Future bets. This thread is for discussion, insults, and padding bankrolls. Lets get it!!

Celtics -8.5 Loss
---Bulls showed me a window into their biggest weakness in their last game of the season...Toughness. Letting Toronto beat you down at on your last home game, is pathetic. Bulls are a finesse team that takes too many bad shots. Their only chance on the road against the Celtics, is if Allen/ Pierce both dont perform well. I have to lean on a veteran team, with a deeper bench than they had last year in the playoffs ( Mikki Moore, Marbury, and Tony Allen finally not injured). I like the Rondo vs Rose matchup also. Rose is the Bulls best player, but will have to deal with a rangy defender in Rondo. I say Rondo at home has ADV.

Blazers -4 Loss
---Blazers talent runs as deep as the ocean. They have players who come off the bench w/ recognizable strengths.(fenandez-3pt, Outlaw-Defense,athletic/ Frye, Mid-range shooter/Oden, Rebounds, Fouling out, haha). Houston bench relies on energy guys, and Wafer-who can shoot, but is streaky, plus has ballhog potential. I dont trust Houston's bench to come through on the road, at a packed Rose Garden. I trust Roy to round up the troops and get them focused, for a win.Comment -

The Bulls haven't come close to beating the Celtics, while on the road. Wanting to play the Celtics makes no sense, since nobody knew if Garnett was coming back previous to the last game of the season. Del Negro can barely formulate a good play, so im not going to give him credit for predicting the future. Especially when Doc Rivers didnt know until Thursday morning. Now if they did want to play the Celtics it was a mistake in judgement. Too many Vets, and a talented bench. I can't wait to see tyrus thomas taking 18ft jump shots, when if Del negro had a freaking clue he would run pick 'n roll w/ him instead.Comment -

Very nice picks. I'm skeptical about the first round match up that the Heats have against the Hawks. I'm taking the Hawks, they have home court adv. & I don't think the support players for the Heat can get it done in Atlanta.
I might also take the Nuggets -6 in the first game, Hornets bench stinks, Chandler is coming back from an injury, so he won't be able to give 100%. Plus Nuggets are coming off a terrible loss in Portland and looking to rebound.

---WTF??? "But Houlihans, you picked Miami to win the series." I know, but not every game. Playing the bench at the end of the season helped Miami immensely. But this is the first playoffs for many of Miami's players, especially their rooks. Atlanta has been here before, and their home court is juiced up to be a factor. The X-factor is Marvin Williams, and his injured back. He will be guarding D-Wade, and if he doesnt hold up its ova for the Hawks. But not in the first game.
No more picks we will recieve better lines later in these series. I'm really waiting for Jazz to get blown out a couple of time in LA. Then getting an inflated line in Utah, for sure jumping on that.Comment -

Portland needs to start doubling Yao, and making everyone around him make jumpers. Portland has the horses to cover the spread, but when the other teams best player has a perfect game you'll never win. I foresee what happened in San Antonio to happen tonite. houli, I agree 100%. Portland is too good at home to lose tonight. They will make adjustments and the Rockets will not play like they did in Game 1. It's going to be a 10+ pt win for Portland I think, but I will buy a 1/2 pt to -5.5 just in case there's a run at the end of the game and someone hits a couple of 3's to screw it up.Comment -
