The line might be unplayable though. If Wall sits I could easily see it being as high as 9.

That Pacers/Grizzlies game on the last day is gonna be crucial.

If they lose tonight the only team they can still finish above is the Rockets (assuming the Clippers win against Denver).

The thing is they'll already know their fate since their game tips late. If Houston is up big at home against Utah they will when their game tips basically be 6th. They're really banged up right now so I wouldn't be surprised to see them rest some guys.

The East will be so much more interesting if Indy gets in. We know Brooklyn would get bounced quickly. I want to see if the Pacers can make some noise.

It sucks that a lot of teams are heading into the playoffs with doubts over whether some of their players are truly healthy. Houston, Dallas, Portland, and Memphis are all in that scenario. The Clippers are the Clippers and the 8 seed won't be good enough. Looks like the Warriors and Spurs really are massive faves. Didn't think it would end up shaping up this way. That said, those teams being a bit banged up doesn't mean they can't compete, we'll know more soon.

I agree. Opens up all kinds of possibilities. Indiana/Chicago in the second round would be fun (not saying Atlanta/Chicago wouldn't be).

One game that could be interesting tomorrow is Toronto/Boston. Boston clinched the playoffs with the Nets' loss today, they've been playing a bit over their heads giving 110% to get in and they will probably relax a bit. The way Toronto has been playing lately I think they really want that 3 seed. Raptors should be good getting 4 points. Don't think that line takes into account the Nets' loss today.

I dunno about that pal. I hear your logic but I'm not sure I agree. Boston is riding high right now. Nobody wants to play Cleveland but they just beat them twice (yes, I realize CLE did not play everyone). My gut tells me Boston tries to keep the momentum going and continue riding this wave.

I don't like Boston matching up with the Cavs. The blueprint to beat LeBron (Celtics, Mavs, Spurs) is experience. Don't see this young team really troubling the Cavs. I sure would love to see it happen though.

Haha bro they won't beat the Cavs. The Celtics are a young team that is playing with house money. There's been no pressure on them. Nothing was expected of these guys. They probably want to face Cleveland and have a chance to knock off James (it won't happen).

Indiana could. That's why I'm saying I don't like Boston matching up with them. When I say "I'd love to see it happen", I mean I'd love to see them compete. Doubt even that will happen.

Who knows maybe Boston loses out and Indiana gets 7th. It's still possible.

I don't like Indy's chances but it would certainly add intrigue. I think Boston adds intrigue as well. You know they will have a good homecourt advantage.

Pacers could give anyone in the east a series. It wouldn't shock me if they beat Atlanta in a 7 game series. With George back, it's basically the same team that went to the ECF the last two years. Hawks have been very mediocre the last few weeks. I just don't think Indiana is going to win in Memphis and Brooklyn should beat Orlando.

I never said Boston would win their series. I simply said they would be more interesting than some of these other teams on the outside looking in (Nets, Heat, Hornets, etc). They have a fun feel to them right now.
