So if Spurs lose they go from 2nd to 6th? Someone explain the west to me lol.

Assuming the Rockets have already won:

Spurs: 2nd if they win, 5th if they lose and Memphis loses, 6th if they lose and Memphis wins.

Rockets: 2nd if the Spurs lose, 5th if the Spurs win.

Clippers: 3rd.

Grizzlies: 5th if they win and the Spurs lose, 6th if they lose or the Spurs win.

Yeah, I realize it's easy of me to say this when I my bet probably amounts to pennies compared to what you have at stake. I'd say go by your feel for the game live. Spurs ML will be at +money even after a decent run by them.

KRIT, I've been following these tiebreaker rules and I still have no idea what will happen if Spurs lose. It's way too complicated. There should be a decent way for the league to smplify this.

It's not that complicated tbh. 1st tiebreaker is division winner, 2nd head to head record, 3rd division record (if teams are from the same division) 4th conference record. 3 team ties basically follow the same concept.

I guess the rules themselves aren't that complicated.Still, following head to head records on 5 different combinations of teams can be a little tough. And the league should really get rid of divisions. And conferences, too. But first the divisions. I haven't even seen a half decent argument for still having them.

If you can't do it then no sweat. I can't access Pinny lines from their site during the day from my phone. It automatically redirects to the mobile version of the site and you can't view their lines on that version of the site.

I don't know about the Pelicans being a serious contender in a few years but they will definitely give the Warriors a better series even if it is still a short one.

OKC's defense is charmin soft, especially without Ibaka. They might have lost every game by 20+. Now OKC can go into the off-season with a better mindset and use the injuries as an excuse.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans are young and dumb. They might not know they aren't supposed to be able to compete and might just keep it competitive.

Their defense will be much better with Davis in the middle. It will be interesting. I will probably bet the Pelicans ATS several times in that series.

They might lose in 5 games but cover like four times. They have nothing to lose.

I agree with all you said except for this. The guy is pretty clueless on both ends of the floor but his defensive schemes have been atrocious. You can't have Holiday, Davis and Asik on your starting five and be in the bottom third defensively. Hopefully Thibs gets the job next season. For the series, imo think they keep it close in a couple of games and maybe win one.

Btw Wizz, you meant the series odds, right? It's pretty weird but I get a mobile version with a menu on the top left which when opened gives access to all sports and bets and there's an link on the bottom to go to the full site. Don't know why you get a different one.

Yes Series odds. I can access the full site but then when I try to go to specific sports and lines, it redirects me to something weird. Been like this for a few months like KRIT was saying.

Oh yeah I saw what's the problem. If your phone is on iOS/Android you can use Puffin Browser with the request desktop site option checked. Works fine even when I'm logged out.

pinny prices for the basics (ml, spread, totals) are always available as one of the columns...

if u can't see it, hit settings/book order and move it to the left of the top row...

more importantly, under the first "settings" dialog box you can choose pinny as the basis for the "opener/closer" price...so then ur first two cols will be "pinny open" followed by "pinny current" prices

i'll bet u already knew this, but in case u didn't--hope it helps

by the way, any hockey fans here...nhl playoffs start tonight...as pure spectacle, IMO,blows the doors off the "legal proceedings in pajamas" that the last "2minutes" (more like 40 minutes in real time) almost every game of NBA will become till a champ is decided..

unfortunately, the more important the basketball games become...the greater is the impact of the officiating in determining their outcome

baseball and hockey outcomes, by contrast, are still largely determined by the players themselves...not by an endless successions of arbitrary calls/non-calls that basketball (AND American "foot"ball) has morphed into over the decades
