OKC is about done.

The injuries were too much to overcome in the West. If Ibaka hadn't gotten hurt, they probably win some of these close losses they've had but they would still get beat down by the Warriors.

You can't lose two of your best three players and a key guy off the bench and do anything.

Yea I had a feeling around mid season that new Orleans was gonna make it in. I think I said in a thread watch out for them at the end of the year. OKC stumbled and was snake bitten and it opened the door.

Yeah. About a week and a half ago when I compared shedules I got worried.

OKC had teams like Dallas, Memphis, Houston, and San Antonio coming up and they kept losing one and two possession games.

Meanwhile the Pelicans only really had the Warriors and the Spurs at the end of the season.

Even when they play the Spurs, the Spurs will probably rest everyone.

I'm not really that bothered. New Orleans is probably a better team right now.

Well they might be done as far as being able to compete against good teams but I don't think you can ignore they're gonna be playing the Kings, Wolves, Blazers (who will be resting players most likely) while New Orleans is playing the Rockets, Grizzlies and Spurs who are all fighting for positioning.

I'd like to see New Orleans get in though.

New Orlenas has a one game lead but they also own the tiebreaker so they essentially have a two game lead.

You like Portland at all? Golden State is off 2 losses and Portland is on a back to back so from a situational standpoint it doesn't look great but I have a feeling that game might at least be close.

I kind of feel the same way but not sure if I want to bet it. Also, part of me wonders if the Warriors will try to put together one last big win in front of the home crowd.
