i like portland -8, just leans at this point tho. considering portland coming off a road trip and this is phillys last game on theirs i think philly has considered this a good road trip beating LAL and SAC and wont be too energetic in this game

miami/memphis over 194 looks decent to me too.

im going to start keeping track of my plays and posting which ones i am doing, not that anyone should tail me until ive actually done something, more to just keep a record for myself, i think id be doing great if i limited myself to 3 or 4 bets a day instead of getting sucked in on 2h plays

The UNDER between Philadelphia and the Blazers is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. Average totals have been set around 187 points but average scores have totaled 176 points. Dexter pointed this out a couple days ago but the 76ers are one of the better defensive teams in the league and Portland is a solid defensive unit as well. The 76ers want to run but when they can't, they struggle on the offensive end. With Portland at home, they will control the tempo and force the 76ers to play in the half court. The last meeting had a total of 194.5 so the lines makers have made an adjustment now and set it at 190. I still like my chances with this total so I'm going with the UNDER 190.

I don't wanna nitpick Melincrea but can you tell me your reasoning for thinking Atlanta's hot streat ends today? are you just saying this because you think Atlanta is due or is there a more solid reason.

I'm saying this because when Utah went on their double digit Win streak some would fade Utah because they thought they were "due" a loss.

Personally, I think the play is Atlanta or no play, Timberwolves are a team that got close to being blown out @ home against the Thunder just yesterday and are on a 4 game loosing streak. Now they're travelling to Atlanta on a b2b with their 10-24 away record against a 27-7 home team on a 7 game Win streak @ Home. Not forgetting their last home game loss was to the Cavalliers.

Atlanta are comming into this game after loosing an away game again to the Cavs but they kept it close and covered, they'll want to respond to that game and carry on their home Win streak with a bang.

The only thing I could think as a play for the Timberwolves would be covering 1st Half, Atlanta usually turn it up a gear in the second half if we take their last 10 games into account. But even thats risky, Timberwolves have an awfull 1st and 2nd QTR record.

Atlanta has Won by more than 12 in 3 of their last 7 home game wins, including games against Portland and Indiana.

Only problem for me is the high line, buying it down to -10 gives odds of -140.

Infact the only thing I find wrong is it seems to good to be true and when this happens I sometimes fade myself but this play looks pretty good so far.

ok guys, the nba was pretty nice to me yesterday, both early plays and the late play hit, plus all 3 1st qtr bets too... lets do something similar today...

well I hate to play the Bulls on the road, but this time they play against the wizards, hey the wizards after a 4 game west coast roadie where they were slaughtered ... the Bulls on the other side of the ball just were beaten by the Lakers at home, after they had an early lead and played pretty decent... also the bulls have revenge on their minds as they were slaughtered by the wizards on the road a month ago by 23 points... dont expect the same thing today, the Bulls need this win badly as the Bobcats, Nets and bucks are right behind them for the last playoff spot.... I will probably also go with the bulls 1st qtr here today... just a great chance to make some cash...

1st qtr Boston... well I will not play the whole game as I think we might see a backdoor cover ... but the 1st qtr looks really nice here...Bos wins it 69% (+3.5) and the Clips only 39% (-2.6) of the time ... looks good to me, but we will have to see the line first on that one...

mem +9... yesterday I was all over Miami and today I will fade them as they come home after a 4 game roadie plus they are on b2b nights here... Mem played some nice ball as of late going 8-2 ATS on the road... add in that memphis has already beat em (home W) this season... yes I like Memphis here ... plus I am also thinking about an under play for the 1st qtr or mem 1st qtr here (and everybody who knows me I hate totals, but I like this one), as both teams play like crap early on and I expect a lot of missed FG and mem probably wins the 1st today..
