Tonight was absolutely sour to say the least.
-Timberwolves keep it close for the entire game and decide to stop playing in the fourth quarter, blowing the cover.
-Nuggets...what the heck was that?? Losing the fourth quarter by 13-points. Oh my.
-Celtics blow the first half cover by allowing that 30-foot 3-pointer with 3 seconds left.

Ok I am pissed off and that is bad new for the books. Boston is the most up and down team I have seen. Anyway what the hell is up with all these teams sucking there own dicks in the fourth quarters? I dodn't play the games but WTF can anyone close out a game? I am going to get us a guaranteed winning day tomorrow bank it.

Not really, even though I took his advice, I was the one who made the wager, not him. So for me to put the blame on him for MY loss is out of line. It was the right call, Denver just collapsed own the stretch by leaving Billups off the floor for too long while the backups gave away the lead. the only blame falls with the Nuggets and their poor execution. I actually almost wish that they had lost the game outright rather than collapse the way that they did and yank defeat from the jaws of victory. I lost quite a pretty penny today and what's funny abut it is both of the teams I had held he spread comfortably for stretches of the games tonight.

Anyway, 2nd half over 100.5 Boston/Clippers

I feel bad for all of us. The week isn't done, we'll find a way to win it all back and more. Bailed myself out on the Celtics -7.5 for the game with Clippers +5.5 second half. It's just one of those nights where teams can't do what they're paid to do. Fingers crossed for that two point middle.

First of all, let me preface by saying I cap every game on my own and compare my plays to the consensus plays on this forum. So I am, by no means, blaming anyone in the least bit for tonight. I appreciate everything everyone does for this forum to help us all bust the books, even if a little comical relief is mostly what is contributed(lemon)

Well.....at least for me, tonight was a very valuable lesson learned. It's about time we cappers get rid of this "short term memory" and actually remember how much of our money these specific teams are burning. I.E. NUGGETS, PISTONS, GEORGETOWN, MAVERICKS

That's not to mention the teams who are impossible to cap on any given night....HEAT, HAWKS, BOBCATS, CLIPPERS, WIZARDS

I mean, come on, the Hawks ARE NOT 13 points better than ANY team in the league in ANY quarter at any venue, much less the Nuggets in Denver. Just an epic display of a choke job put on by the beloved and infamous Nuggets. Hope these Celts can cover and hopefully save some face on what has been an otherwise most dreadful night.
