    lol... Kobe SUCKS!!
    what a riot.*

look at the stat sheet, no starters in double-figures. All the big runs, happened with Kobe in the bench. All the starters in the minus, and all of the bench in the positive.

the Lakers are in for 3 more years of this..*
and for just $78 MILLION DOLLARS.*

The Kobe extension wil go down as one of the worst contracts in NBA history.

i watched the post game interviews.. nobody is psyched about him presence or performance. Standard scripted responses by all of them. Kobe has little fraternity from the other players in the lockerroom.*

i know it is just the first game back, but anybody who thinks that this is going to get much better is delusional. Unbelievably, Kobe considers himself the best player in the game this season!! (actually this is very consistent with Kobe's thought process)

    28 minutes,*
    2-9 Shooting, for 9 pts. (.222)
    8 Turnovers.. (all by himself)
Minus -16 Pts rating (second worst in game)

i remember a few years ago, when Kobe stated that IF he could NOT dominate the game as he use accustomed to.. he would leave it.

"I will NEVER be one of those players coming in and averaging 18 pts. a game"

but i think he is right on the money...

Kobe will never again average 18 PPG

I honest to god believe Kobe's contract might be worse than Joe Johnson and Rudy Gays.....what happens next year when their bench is gutted to adhere to Salary Cap rules? ..As it stands...Jordan Hill will be getting a significant contract next year...and obviously the Lakers will not be able to afford him....Gasol is not taking a pay cut....Farmer may also be out....and Nash is NOT retiring...he cannot afford to because of the alimony he has to pay in the state of California....and now 75 percent of the Cap space is tied up in a man that barely has a 25 inch vertical ? Kobe will have to become extremely efficient...from beyond the arc....to be effective....Henry should be starting not him..

lol... it's going to be awesome.. it is. for Kobe-tard haters... this is going to be heaven, i am really glad you posted that vid
where Kobe reveals his true thoughts about what the pecking order is in the present day NBA

as you pointed out, and i saw... he has himself first... ahead of guys like LeBron and Durant and CP3 and so many others..
ther are easily over 100 players that are better than present day Kobe..

he should feel honored to be in the Top 25...

it will get better than this... no doubt.. but not $48 Million Dollars better than this. not close.

that contract simply stated is an anchor that team has to try to run with, it will cripple them beyond it's termination as well..
because once you bring serious talent over.. it still requires 2-3 yrs of playing time together to advance to the Finals.. and win it all.

so the Lakers will not have a team in place until the year AFTER Kobe leaves... then look at 2-3 yrs min from there..

5-6 yrs before thay can realistically make a run at the Finals..

and the best part of this is... Kobe-tards think that only a person off their rocker might think this

i popped into a laker blog.. and saw serious correspondence where they expected him to come back and make a run at the MVP this year. Only time can fix this.

        i'd say give him time.

it's only his first game back.

          i think that is fair.

and i certainly expect that the will improve. but not very much.
i do not expect that he would improve and play at a level that would land him in an All-Star game
if his name were not "Kobe Bryant"

Kobe has 2 Rings... the first three are won with him there or not

his first Ring he received averaging 13 PPG in the Finals compared to Shaq's 38 PPG

Kobe missed TWO games with an ankle and the LAkers (i mean Shaq) STILL won it in 6 games*

              i LOVE YOUR AVATAR!!!!

(come back stronger!!) hey.. was that photo taken before or after the injury? he looked kinda fat, slow last night

Cmon man.......dont try and justify that he only has 2 rings, when he does infact have 5, and was a key contributor in each of those 5.

I'm far from a Kobe fan.......but a little harsh. His first game in like 8 months, anyone would struggle in that situation.

I only hope Lebron and Durant saw the interview.....hopefully they will actually try hard and embarrass him at the all star game this year... Durant and Lebron are too humble to name themselves as the best players....they would never answer a question like that....

Some of these nitwits at the Laker Forums need a serious reality check...many of them were trying to blame Pau and Blake for the loss...lol...the nerve of that ball hog to call Pau out of the paint to set a screen...only to cough it up on the way to the basket....Then other people on the forums were trying to call out Nick Young....who is currently shooting 47 percent from the field...Kobe has not shot that percentage his entire career..Young and Henry were keeping The Lakers from getting blown out last night...and every time they came out and Kobe went in, the Raptors went on a run..lol
