There are an increasing number of trade rumors involving Hornets center Tyson Chandler, including a Chandler-for-Shawn Marion deal with the Heat.
One stumbling block is the Hornets lack of depth at center -- Hilton Armstrong, Melvin Ely and Sean Marks aren't exactly a fearsome trio. On the other hand, New Orleans has incentive because they may not be able to re-sign Chandler as a free agent in 2010. Also, his $11.8 million salary next season is inflating their projected luxury-tax. Stay tuned.

the lakers will be coming back to LA - first home game after a long/undefeated 6 game road trip. perfect spot for a letwdown after wins vs bos/cleav - the thunder are 32-19 ats this year, and have historically done very well ats in la (4-1 ats last 5).

I also like Toronto on Tuesday, Al Jefferson maybe out ? plus add in that Tor owns Minn, they are 8-0 ATS overall and 4-1 ATS on the road against Minn,

In light of the big Phoenix win yesterday, I am liking the Sixers to cover the light home chalk. Phoenix is an aging team and Terry Porter has shown that he is having a few adjustment problems. We all know that Shaq won't play in this game as he doesn't play back ends of back to backs. They've already got 95.6 to 103.2 defensive edge and that was before Phoenix is tired. I have the Sixers pegged as winning by 7.5 Outside of whatever play that I get from anthonydiamondsLC, that is a play that i am going to make. I will update my front page to reflect my play.Comment -

The problem with those stats as helpful as they are they don't show the home/away differences and sometimes these can be huge, if you don't analyse these stats on top of the ones given it leaves a hole in our game.
When you analyse home/away 1st QTR records on top of overall records it starts becomming a real eye opener.
76'ers have been very good at home 1st QTR's, their home advantage, good record and a tired Suns team which has a poor record at away 1st QTR's and we could be on to something here.
Houston could be an example of this tonight, although they have the 4th best 1st QTR record, recently they have been very unpredictable and away their 1st QTR record over the last 5 away games has not been very good, you would have one only twice. However, at home they are great in the 1st.Comment
