Just peeking ahead at tomorrow's slate of games, I think that I may play college hoops more than NBA tomorrow. I have my eyes on Rhode Island tomorrow to pull the upset against Xavier. They are super underrated, and I think that this will be their break out game to enter the national stage. Xavier is high profile to be sure, but the rams will be up to the task. I can't wait for this one. With a short schedule tomorrow in the NBA, I think I will make it an open board day, and play this college game hard. I also like Utah State to get the job done against Fresno State. Utah State won't be losing any games at home in the WAC this year, and this one reeks of blowout. I also think that San Diego is goint to be a good wager playing against a weak Pepperdine squad. The line may look a little inflated for this one, but it will happen.

-the bulls will be on back to back traveling from canada, but i'm sure the cavs will be laying a heavy price on the road - i hate playing road favorites.

I guess that we will be on opposite sides this weekend. I don't think that the ravens can be given a touchdown by any team in football, even the Steelers, who incidently are my favorite team. But I can't bet this one with my heart. The Ravens is the team that I have pegged to win it all.

The under is 3-0 last 3 times they have met in Philly, and the actual game scores have averaged 176. I am inclined to think that the under would be the appropriate call on that one...

I think that the Pacers is the call on that one. the Pistons went on a long west coast road trip, came home and played one game against Charlotte, and now they pack up and go on the road again to play the Pacers who are hungry for a win after a disasterous west coast road trip. I think that you will be pleasantly surprised if you make a play for the Pacers. And the good energy of the line movement only adds to that play.Comment -

lunt - i would say the fact that they are playing on a back to back (with indy rested) - and went to to the wire in a hard fought game with the bobcats last night.
68% of the public is on detroit, so the money appears to be sharp - ford is still up in the air, but hes not affecting the line with his play this year.Comment -

Wow, my book has a "side bet" that states:

On the normal NBA slate they have Indiana -1 at -110. So basically if I take the "No" on side bet as a single, I'm getting better odds as well as a theoretical spread of Indiana +1.5, the original spread.
