Fadi El Khatib scored 35 points and Joseph Vogel added 26 for Lebanon, which lost all five games and finished last in the 2002 world championships.
Tomas Aguilera led Venezuela, which was 6-for-27 from 3-point range, with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Nigeria 82, Serbia & Montenegro 75
Ime Udoka scored 18 points and Josh Akognon hit a 3-pointer that gave Nigeria a 74-66 lead with three minutes to play in the upset of the defending champions.
Igor Rackocevic had 20 points for Serbia-Montenegro, which won the world title in 2002 competing as Yugoslavia.
Argentina 80, France 70
Manu Ginobili scored 25 points and Andres Nocioni added 18 to lead the defending Olympic gold medalists. France closed within 73-66 but Ginobili sealed the win with a 3-pointer with 40 seconds left.
Florent Pietrus had 15 points for France, which will be without guard Tony Parker for the tournament. The San Antonio Spurs star broke his finger in an exhibition game.

Dirk Nowitzki had 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead Germany, the 2002 bronze medalists, which led 50-37 at halftime and finished the game with a 45-24 rebound advantage.
Kei Igarashi had 13 points for Japan, which got as close as 64-56 with 35 seconds left in the third quarter.
Angola 83, Panama 70
Carlos Almeida scored all but two of 22 points in the second half for Angola, which closed the third quarter with a 20-4 run.
Ruben Douglas led Panama, which was 12-for-24 from the free throw line, with 17 points.

Pau Gasol, Juan Carlos Navarro and Jorge Garbajosa scored 16 points each to lead Spain. Navarro shook off a slow start by scoring seven points in the final 5 1/2 minutes of the third quarter when Spain took a 68-48 lead.
This was the first of three games New Zealand will play without starting point guard Mark Dickel, who is serving a 10-day suspension from FIBA following a positive drug test last month.
