THE OPPOSITE ESPN THEORY!!!
ok guys some of you may find this crazy but i have been tracking this for a while and made my first wager last night using this information.
as most of you probably know when you are watching espn the scoreboard for all the games appears at the bottom of the screen.....well before the games start, espn likes to put little info tidbits for some of the games which in my opinion are to sway bettors the way the books want you to wager........last night it was completely obvious by the small write up that espn was trying to sway bettors to the lakers and the under.....i of course bet hornets and over AND IT HIT.....so i have been watching the channel today and you can verify this yourselves.....here are who espn is trying to get you to bet
in the NBA they are favoring atlanta, miami, utah and the under total for philly
in there small writeups they mention the following.."atlanta has won there previous 5 games by an average score of 12" "denver is 16-20 in games without carmello anthony" and the "bucks have only allowed opposing team to score an average of 89.1 ppg last 8 games"the
'hornets have lost 4 straight by an average of 21points at jazz"......so i will experiment going against all these espn touts and wager (small) on the following....magic +2, den -5 ,hornets +5 and philly team total over 94
there is also a play for nhl.....espn says rangers have outscored canadiens 15-5 last 4 games at msg
and 1 colloge basketball game lousiville "has lost last 4 big east openers"
so i will also be playing canadiens and louisville......good luck and lets see if this worksComment -

Been lurking around here for a while and finally feel like I may be able to contribute something. Take a look at the Grizz tonight. Everyone is on the nets (about 72% of the bettors) and the line has moved a solid point in the other direction. Memphis has had the Nets number winning 7 of their last 10 matchups straight up and 8 out of the last 12 ATS. Best of luck.Comment -

Cleveland is allowing only 89.2 ppg at home this season, but it has held Charlotte to 74 and 79 points respectively in two prior matchups this season. Cleveland is 229-26 UNDER when they allow 86 or less points in a game since 1996Comment -

Hi everyone. I'm new here but have been following with CK's thread for some time now. I like how everyone here is helping one another giving good feedback.
One game I'd like to point out is the Orlando/Atlanta game. I see that some of you are going with Orlando, but I think that Atlanta is the way to go because these teams will be heading back to Orlando for their next game. I think that it is a much needed win for ATL cuz the next game won't be so easy with them playing away. Atlanta has also faired well 6-3 ats over the last 3 seasons against Orl and with their good record at home I think they're the way to go. CK, i must apologize from last time. i didnt follow your rules and i wagered more than i should have been wagering and i was panicking. luckily it worked out. i have since been wagering the way you preach and it has been working out much better. as i build little by little and hit another level, then i will up my bets.

Man, my sleeping hours are messed up beyond recognition.
I won't have time to look at all of the early games tonight. One game that caught my eye is GSW catching 9 points against the Lakers.
As a road favourite of 6.5 to 9 points, Lakers are 1-3 ATS
As a home underdog of 6.5 to 9 points, Warriors are 1-0 ATS
Of course, the Lakers lost last night after blowing a 3Q lead. They played miserable in the 4Q. They'll want to atone their loss against a sub-500 team. But it isn't going to be easy playing against this Warriors squad. In their loss to the Jazz, they were nailing shots left and right, making good passes, and kept the game close managing to lose by only 5 points in Utah.
