How in the world best defensive player of the year not in the 1st team? Gasol is just 2nd team. I thought if you are the best defensive player, you're automatically 1st team.

They explained this like 20 times yesterday during the games. Media votes on defensive player of the year and coaches vote for all-NBA teams

Chris Paul making the first team is a joke. Eric Bledsoe was a much better defender than Paul, and they were on the same team.
