Does anyone see any real matchup advantages or is it just because Westbrook is out and the Rockets are at home?
Just curious...

Was going to play them regardless of Westbrook. Rockets are down 0-2. Homecourt advantage will win it for the Rockets tonight. Doesn't really have to do with who the better team is, just look at the Hawks beating down the Pacers.

Fair enough.
As for me being a homer, I'm not really a huge homer. Sure I root for my team but I predicted we would go out in the second round before the Westbrook injury. I've also bet against the Thunder or started multiple threads in games in which I though OKC would lose over the last two years.
If I was truly a homer I would completely blind and continually post that I'm dropping like 20 units on my team and act like they are better than they are. I don't really do that but if you think I'm a homer that is your opinion.
I'll be happy if OKC wins 1 of 2. Before the Westbrook injury I actually said I wouldn't be surprised if Houston won both of their home games. That statement is documented in T-Wizzle's thread.

OKC seems like they have a little something extra tonight. Like it so far.

Yes.
You can vouch for me. I know you've been in threads where I have warned people not to take OKC.

OKC should be up 20 by end of the 1st QTR...
but Joey Crawford is doing his funny business.

At the moment i could LAY OKC (betfair), and get at least 50% profit of my original bet on OKC, either they loose or win in the end.
But i will keep it.

All of Houston's momentum got killed by the refs. They were off to a good start. Not saying the calls were bad, but they just didnt' respond well to all the whistles.

Durant over pts was the easiest bet of the year. Can't believe I didn't see this coming.
(now watch him go 3-20 the rest of the game)

Decent? They could do this everyday on Houston. Why people lay money down on a 8 seed vs Thunder is way beyond my comprehension.

Well if there was still any doubt if Durant can step-up....we got our answer.
And even the whole team - they look as if nothing has even changed in their team

I played Durant Over 32.5, Harden Over 27.5, Parsons Over 15.5, and Martin Over 15.5. See how it goes. Need 3/4 to profit with the juice. Durant is going to cash by halftime.
Yeah I went a little overboard on the props with this game lol.

Instead of Westbrook taking the shots it's Durant. Not sure how people thought that would be a bad thing....OKC is going to completely blow Houston off the court tonight.

Most teams react like that to a major injury though - hell, some people actually thought the Celtics were better without Rondo after they played so well the first few games without him. Think about how absurd that statement sounds now.
But yeah, this is very different and I do expect OKC to do fine. Their matchup vs the Clippers (please let it be the Clippers - getting a tad worried about the series bet) should be interesting.

Good luck. Harden could be tough with foul trouble and possibly limited 4th qtr minutes if it's a blowout.

I feel like Houston has no rebounding whatsoever besides Asik who always gets overwhelmed since every other rockets player is standing at the three point line

The Rockets have one player that would start for OKC and that player came off the bench for OKC last year. Hence you have a 26 point second quarter deficit.

Gonna pound Rockets in game 4. OKC has the job done, winning 1 on the road. I don't think Houston goes away, their aim in this series was to win a game and they certainly have shown in patches they are capable. Think Pacers/Bulls in 2011 where the Pacers lost the first 3 including 2 heartbreakers but won game 4 to avoid the sweep.

I don't know if I would pound them but I wouldn't back OKC. OKC can relax now and win it at home in game 5. You're exactly right.
