Dominant? Not even close. Hes just a decent center at best.
People have to realize this isn't the same Dwight that was playing the finals a few years back. This is a new player.

Nba does not have any traditional big men left any more not at elite status anyhow. The game has changed and so many guys near 7 ft play near the perimeter an run the floor better than ever now. The last era of great big men played in the 90's but times have changed. The fact most "experts" call Howard or Bynum the best just proves my point lol!

I think Bynum actually had great potential to be 'dominant', but not anymore obviously.
Who knows how his career would've turned out if he never took that 3-pointer that got him benched Was all down-hill from there.

That's kind of the route I was going.
Howard gets hype because there really aren't any decent centers anymore.

Howard is mentally soft. But, I hope you are not trying to take anything away from Duncan here. Yeah he may be old, but he is still sick.

The Center position is just a travesty right now. Gone are the days of Shaq, Ewing, Olojuwon, David Robinson, etc. Now we talk about Roy Hibbert as a max contract center.

last I checked Duncan is arguably the greatest PF of all time, just because he has aged doesn't make him any less of a player.

SO why aren't teams clammering for Jordan to come back and play? I mean just because he has aged I am sure he isn't any less of a player, right?

People make too big of a deal of age...when it comes to Duncan, Kobe, etc.......their skills were so superior to everyone elses that you have to expect that even in their mid to late 30's they will be better than at least 70 percent of the guys still in their 20's......shouldn't come as a surprise...
