They probably wouldn't win a series against either of these two but they will make the playoffs.

Don't seem them losing to the Warriors.

The Spurs game could depend on what kind of lineup the Spurs put out there.

If they need to beat the Rockets they will.

That's how I see it. Lakers make playoffs will open around -300 to -400 tomorrow. Watch.

On a side note... It is SO frustrating as a Mavs fan to see how this season unfolded.

If Dirk had been healthy all year the Lakers would already be on holiday. But I guess they had issues of their own with Gasol, Nash and Howard so it all evens out.

this is incorrect, i expected they would sweep Phoenix, but they lost 2 of 3 to them

You're not going anywhere with Mike James in your regular rotation. Period.

Hopefully Lakers win their next two and Minnesota somehow wins at Utah so this thing is done with on Friday night...

Oh, I agree the franchise is a mess. But they would have a better record with Dirk healthy all year (have lost many close games) and despite the mess this team is they will be .500 tomorrow most likely. Don't know why they didn't hold on to Jason Kidd, if you want an old washed-up vet it might as well be Jason Kidd and not Mike James or Derek Fisher.

Though while doing ifs, if Rick Carlisle coached the Lakers and Mike d'Antoni the Mavs the Lakers would be on 45-50 wins and the Mavs would be on about 30.
