1-3 tonight. Feel like giving up.

I researched my picks and I bet on the best match ups. Lost my money line on Dallas and lost my point total for Detroit vs Milwaukee. Also lost my bet of new Orleans losing by +7.
Any advice from here? How to research games better? What stats to look at?
