Hey guys, just a question for people who use american style odds (ie. +400, -600 etc)
Im from NZ, and we use decimal amounts which is easy to understand. But my question is, what is an easy way to determine the value of a parlay given the individual odds american style? I can do the math manually myself, but seems a lot more effort than using the decimal odds.
Im just trying to determine the odds of peoples parlays they post, but cant be bothered doing the maths.
My example is this parlay below
leg 1 : $2.60 (NZ) or +160 (US)
leg 2 : $1.85 (NZ) or -117.7 (US)
leg 3 : $3.20 (NZ) or +220 (US)
using fractional odds, the parlay value is easily calculated as : 2.60 x 1.85 x 3.20 = 15.39 (or +1439 US)
how do I do this quickly and easily using US odds? I understand the logic of the US odds (for unit betting etc) but makes it a nightmare to calculate the odds of a parlay... help please?
Thanks in advance
