The slow grind continues with another weekend in positive territory. After a rocky start to the season things *should* be more settled heading forward with more data and stats to work off.. Hopefully that means more 2x plays or occasional 3x where opportunity lies. Again, nothing crazy to risk the BR!

Titans vs Broncos UNDER 38 1x 1.95
Seeing this number move fast a several books to 36.5 - despite the last game between these sides going way OVER this time the UNDER looks great. We've got slower conditions with on/off rain predicted and it'll be much colder. Goal kicking for the Broncos has been ordinary and should help the cause for the UNDER. Add to that a game full of second string players like Anderson, Wallace etc.. and the scoring potential is limited. Have this game at 32pts on the model and rolling 1x UNDER 38. GL

Rabbitohs vs Tigers OVER 42.5 1x 1.95
We have a team with the highest PPG figure (Rabbitohs) up against the team with the highest PPG against.. this is a no brainer for the OVER. Tigers give up 26ppg on average and tonight the Rabbitohs should put up at least 30pts. Some changes around the fringes with Everingham missing also creates some opportunities for some added Tigers points. Have this game at 48pts and rolling 1x OVER. GL

Cowboys vs Roosters UNDER 38.5 1x 1.95
Roosters have been solid in defense and they're taking on a Cowboys team severely lacking in that department. This should be a battle of the forwards and it's on the line for the Cowboys to turn things around. Waerea-Hargreaves missing for the Roosters takes some of the sting out the side and improves the opportunity for an UNDER play. Last time the Roosters played in Townsville they were belted 50-12 by the Cowboys.. rest assured this won't be happening again. Have this game at 32pts and rolling 1x UNDER. GL

Dragons vs Eels OVER 38 1x 1.95
Eels are full of confidence after rolling the Broncos last week and Josh Dugan making his debut will give this game some added spark. Too much has changed for these sides to play out a boring ho-hum game that we'd normally expect. Matt Cooper returns, Eels debut a lightning under 20 player given a start (Junior Paolo) and there are plenty of players under the pump for an origin jersey. Expecting a fast paced game with a more focused Eels side and a score line in the low 40's. Rolling 1x OVER at 1.95. GL

Panthers vs Warriors OVER 41.5 1x 1.95
Panthers pulled off a shock upset last week over the Storm and will be ready to fire tonight. However the stats don't lie - they give up over 25 points per game on average and are facing a side with similar stats. This could turn into a defensive schlockfest and a typical turnstyle game from both sides. Warriors love to fall asleep and showed that last week.. leading 16-0 against the Bulldogs they clocked off and chalked up a 24-16 loss. Habits are hard to break for both sides and this should fall back to tryfest. Have the total at a cracking 52 pts but a little gun shy to pull the trigger on a 2x play.. these teams are too on/off again for my liking. Rolling 1x OVER 41.5 at 1.95 GL

Sharks vs Raiders OVER 41 1x 1.95
Raiders have been devastating in attack and face a team with similair defensive stats to the Knights - the Sharks. They should force the Sharks to play an upbeat style of faced paced football and put them on the back foot. Carney thrives in these games and should add some points on the board. Based on raw stats this game only gets 30pts but isolate the performances from the last 4 weeks and it tells a diifferent story. Rolling 1x OVER. GL

Knights vs Bulldogs UNDER 40.5 1x 1.95
The focus all week in training for the Knights have been defense, defense, defense and Bennett could conduct a master class on it. With Inu returning in the Centres for the Dogs they'l need to lock down the middle of the field. Knights are unbeaten at home and the Bulldogs come off wins to Warriors and Tigers (hardly elite teams in the competition). This game has all the hallmarks of a grind away win for either team and the total looks to be around 34 on the model. Rolling 1x UNDER at 1.95. GL

Storm Vs Sea Eagles OVER 34 1x 1.95
The squares have come out and smashed the UNDER on this one.. down from 38.5 earlier in the day to (what I believe) is a tipping point to play the OVER. It's fair to play the UNDER when the track is heavy, but it's not worth 4.5pts for being wet and the Storm are seasoned professionals when it comes to rain - it's Melbourne after all and their history in the wet actually favours the OVERS. Big time punters are over-reacting a little to wet conditions and I don't see it affecting these teams style of play too much. The Storm are yet to go UNDER at home and are facing a team that has a PPG figure of 20... the averages alone have this total at 38pts. The Storm have been called everything over the past week and will be fired up - you can be assured of that. Both sides will be keen to put on a display and this has all the hallmarks of an intense game hungry for points. Rolling 1x OVER 34 at 1.95. GL

Fitting result for the Storm / Sea Eagles match ending in a draw, game where no team really grabbed the bull by the horns and took control. OVER play was based on the Storm attack being up to scratch, however that never eventuated and they looked really really ordinary.. got that one wrong. Still, good week and up 3 games this round. The grind forward continues
