sportsbet will be putting totals on later than usual, they aren't too sure yet because of the weather and they openly admitted this. but there will be some totals up through the night

Its been raining today, 21mm in carrara, shouldn't be raining through the games though, this is according to weatherzone so it will still be wet.

I am watching A-League and they just showed some footage in Robina and it has been pelting down. Ground looked completely waterlogged. It's about 30mins from Brissy I believe, but I think it's been bad all through the area today. It was torrential rain yesterday too.

Brettels, tonight is probably the night to stay off the fresh team in game 2, if ever there was a night. It's been good money so far though.

I'm a fan of taking the fresher side in game 2 but not as confident tonight and might leave it! waiting for some totals again which are yet to be posted, got a feeling they might not at all.

Well we got that over pretty easily

The saints looked terrible without del santo and montagna

    I'm going on the over 75.5 Geelong/swans

    Should be a shootout

Also like the idea of taking the fresher team in game 2, that is the cats vs swans and there are nice odds on the h2h

I agree with the over, got it for 68.5....didn't see any totals last week. I also like the saints for the win, the new coach stated he was going to change the saints into a more attacking style of team so there will be a whole new game plan for the saints. Only betting between 1 and 2 dollars each bet for the NAB and these are my first bets so far. All teams look decent with the listed squads more so the saints at first look and geelong. Am looking forward to seeing how mitch morton fits in at the swans. good luck

I'm taking the over 69.5 total in the st.kilda/Sydney match tonight........not sure about st.kildas game plan but I'm sure it won't be ultra defensive, I could be wrong though....etihad is the easiest place to score.

See how we go over 69.5 units .25

    Thoughts?

Betfair have the worse odds in ALL the futures for AFL right now and probably NRL too.

Hmm, you can't even get better odds on Betfair at the moment. Looks like everyone has taken a bit on them then, I guess if you wanted to back them now then you'd have missed the boat. They would have started at around $8, and now they are into $5... that's a fairly good go on them!

TAB didn't have reasonable odds to start with anyway.

Yes, I intend to stay around here! I've used Sportal before, and I use Ourfooty, both have given me good insights into other sides (SEN had a few good forums too, before they shut the programmes down), just thought I'd give people the link to it. I'm not here to advertise that forum, I'm here to be active on this forum.

I keep hearing some big money is being plonked on the hawks to win the flag, there was a report in the Herald Sun a while back that suggested 40% of all TAB Sportsbet takings on the market were for the hawks. I think if you're a hawks fan and you like your side to win, you'll have to look somewhere other than the TAB to get some reasonable odds on it now!

Anyway, I like the look of laying GWS for the first few rounds this year. I steer clear of the NAB Cup games, particularly in these mini-games that they play, it's pure luck. Not sure how the line was so high for GWS against both sides, especially against the doggies.
IF you really want to advertise this forum that looks like it is made for people banned from bigfooty then go to the sports promotions and links page section! That way you wont get banned, that is if you ever come back here and intend to be a regular poster instead of what seems like a spammer. i don't think that forum will get any where near as big footy, too little too late! and no one likes poo brown coloured websites!

LAST YEAR'S NAB CUP: Collingwood swept past Richmond and Carlton in last year's opening-round tri-series before accounting for Sydney by 14 points in a quarter-final, the Eagles by 24 in the semis then the Bombers in the grand final. The Bulldogs didn't make it past the opening round where they traded a 31-point win over North Melbourne for a 21-point loss to Geelong. The Giants also failed to advance after straight-sets losses to the Sydney Swans by a whopping 79 points and Gold Coast, 28.

WE THINK: The Magpies' priority is to finish the season strongly, not to burst from the blocks, but they must be strongly favoured to advance from this group. New coach Nathan Buckley is keen to get miles into the legs of his senior players and try out some youngsters such as ruck prospects Jarrod Witts, John Ceglar and U.S. import Shae McNamara. First-year Bulldogs coach Brendan McCartney will unveil his new game plan with its emphasis on winning the contested ball, and a revamped forward structure in which Liam Jones and Jordan Roughead will figure prominently. The Dogs will be keen to ensure that former team-mate Callan Ward's first game as the Giants co-captain will be one to remember. And what of GWS? Winning is out of the question, so they'll be judged by their competitiveness and the all-important first impressions of their top-end draftees. Israel Folau gets the chance to prove he's the real deal and not just a promotional vessel, and Kevin Sheedy returns to the match-day saddle. Pulling the right reins won't make any difference. It's Collingwood, comfortably.

basically just replicate the lines from the bookies, i might be more generous with the odds! donate me the points like placing a bet then if you win i give it back plus winnings, lose and i keep! running it just like a sportsbook, just lines and totals maybe.
