    Tomorrow's matches:

    Georgia vs Fiji,

    Ireland vs Russia.

Need both Fiji & Ireland to bounce back from shock defeats. Ideally Ireland will end up with a bonus point win but less than 64 points in total.

Just the one game tomorrow: South Africa vs Italy.

No idea what kind of winning margin to expect in this one. Italy looking much improved lately, can't get a decent read on what to expect here. Most likely won't be betting this one, except for as part of existing parlay.

    Tomorrow's matches:

    Australia vs Uruguay,

    England vs Argentina,

    Japan vs Samoa.

Expecting a huge win for Australia in response to their defeat last time. Could we see a team kept scoreless for a 4th time already in this tournament?

In the other two games, my bets dictate that I'll he hoping England win and Japan lose, even though I'd be hoping for the exact opposite if it weren't for my Pool A/Pool C winners parlay.

    Australia 45-10 Uruguay.

Uruguay continue to surprise me, delighted to see them register 10 points.

Much as I'd love to see them beating England in the quarters, it's not looking too likely at the moment.

    Samoa Kicking % = 100 3.50

Their place kicker is a stud...

Tough one to call, IMO. I was considering Samoa +22 @ 1.67 but chickened out. Just not sure whether Samoa are gonna turn up or not.

    You playing this one, Opti?

Damn. Took an impossible penalty just to eat up time from the yellow card

Should have gone with Japan to kick 100% 5.00 instead. Their guy has it on a string.

100% agree, Poisec, this Argentina team isn't bad at all.

To be honest, I think outside of New Zealand and South Africa, England are probably the only others capable of winning this tournament.

    New Zealand 71-9 Namibia.

Not a bad effort from Namibia, all things considered.

If my instincts were good, I would not be 0-4 for tourney. Just enjoying it.

A bit over the lopsided games though. With only more to come for a while yet...

    Canada 125/1 v Sth Africa
    USA 12/1 v Argentina
    Russia 40/1 v Scotland
    Fiji 7/1 v Wales
    Georgia 12/1 v Australia
    Italy 50/1 v NZ

Yup, should be some decent matchups once we get to the quarters hopefully.

On current from, I'd expect England to beat Australia and Wales to beat France, but those matches should be close enough and could easily go the other way.

New Zealand @ 2.20 on the outright winner market looks tempting for sure. I give them at least 50% chance to win the world cup.

Missed the match and was surprised by the scoreline, bad French team or better than expected effort from Tonga? France was not convincing against the US...

Bit of both really. Tonga played very well at times but there's some serious trouble in the French camp if rumours can be believed. Some reports even claim they're on the brink of all-out mutiny.

I think Wales have a great chance to eliminate the French assuming they meet in the quarters.

I think they're justifiable favourites without any doubt. Still trying to decide whether to attempt some kind of dutching strategy by also putting a little on South Africa who are available @ 5.5 with some books.

You liking the straight bet on NZ yourself, Poisec?

Hi Baraldsson, honestly yes I like the bet @ 2.20, plain and simple, I see bets at these odds much more risky everyday. Not saying its' a lock or anything but the potential profit is really nice.

Agreed. On their day, France could make life very difficult for Wales, but based on form, momentum etc I think Wales should get it done.

First try from Wales was smart play, now 14-10, dominating the game no doubt the upset won't happen but nice effort from the Fijians.
