    Where would one find a horse that finished 1st in their last race running against maidens in their next race?

    great list! i've been wondering how to choose the best contender in a maiden race. i know of some on the list (esp. eliminating the 4 yr olds) but that's as far as i have gone to. thanks heaps guys!

    Maiden Sprints are the type of races you can find some prices in. Youhave to look for horses who are overlooked by the public either by over betting a heavy favorite who lost by a nose last out or a class dropper or if public money is spread thin. Take a long look at firsters as sometimes they are key as to how the race will shape up Also look for horses who were closing ground in the last quarter last out. THats the quick and dirty to add to the list
