No. Its been my experience that insider have a a higher opinion of their chances in a given race than the public. Some win, but alot more finish disappointingly.

I find that hard to believe with all the info thats only available to insiders so to say. Things like shoe info, tongue ties, bits, medications, overall physical and mental health and well being of a horse what handicapper has access to that info for every charge in a race. ohh, and how about this who would know the connections intentions sometimes horses are out just for a workout and not really trying to win a race would you ever know that before a race unless you were given that information.

I've had some "tips" from some insiders over the years. Its a small sample, not more then a dozen. Mostly owners, a couple of trainers. Some won nicely,but the majority dissappointed. Just saying.
