#108I will pass on grading this thread. But I will keep open the offer of a contest between you and I starting with Keeneland in OCT. Just the major venues. Small w/p and $1 ex. Max $20/race. We keep it going to one of us realizes we are done and hopelessly behind. What will it prove? Not much except for that period one of us was the better capper. And you can focus on any race you like. I do not care. Think it over. 2 months until Keeneland commences.Comment -

#109as I said just going to focus on big track maidens from here on out..this is because I feel I understand it better and would like to put more time (if necessary ) on these types of races..no exactas and no variance in amount bet..either 2W ,2WP or 4W..that's itComment -

#112I will Pass. EX are a major factor in how I play. In addition, I think it would help mitigate the sample size argument. Anyway, if you change your mind, and would be willing to add a level of difficulty to the equation in EX I am in. If not, GL on your action. And If you do not grade, I would think you should at least give a rundown on how you did.Comment -

#113Hate to break it down for you Mr. G&T, but if you tail JBEX you will lose. LOL. He does not grade or give rundown of his action for a reason. Now in defense of JBEX most players will lose. It's just a question of how much? I would really like JBEX to try and better your performance or even mine. I would like to think an "expert experienced horse player" could better 2 players throwing DARTS. But in reality do not think it would occur. Dart throwing> than experience and knowledge. Why do we all even play this Game?Comment -

#115Yes Sir. On Horse Tourneys they have $1 exacta Box contests. You pick 3 horses, and no caps. That's what I would suggest we do. $1 ex box up to 3 horses. Think it over. If you change your mind I will be ready starting with Keeneland meet.Comment -

#118HT has many different contests. Most are w/p with caps. They have survivor, Some are real time and some are lockdowns where all picks must be put in advance. Head to Heads as well. What's your point? With your experience edge over me, I would think you would jump at the chance to include exactas?Comment -

you're always talking about "the rake" so why would you want to play into these higher take pools..so just picking a winner is no good anymore ?Comment -

#120And I will add this to the MIX. Since I usually Play in real time I will cap all exacta payoffs for me at $100. For you I will give you $125. Just a little incentive for you to take a shot. I would have a certain advantage by playing real time, but it would be mitigated by a $100 cap. Think it over JBEX. Your knowledge and experience against my Darts. LOL. I admit in that scenario I do not have much to lose. Pressure is on you? LOL.Last edited by Easy-Rider 66; 08-04-18, 08:16 AM.Comment -

#122And the rake is the same for both of us. I get it JBEX your experience, and Knowledge, systems, and methodology are only valid for picking winners? Shows your limitation as a handicapper. I guess. No worries.Comment -

#124The above contest are where the Sharks are JBEX. Making big Money in this game. Using their experience and knowledge and dart throwing skils to make major scores. Not you and I yet. Maybe one day.Comment -

in maiden races (which I feel is meaningless for reasons discussed) that's not good enough anymore. .I have to go against you in an exacta format now..I have to keep bending to accommodate you..i'm looking to find a horse or sometimes 2 that I like but I have to play them in an exacta now ..at the end of the day as you will eventually learn it's how good you are at picking winners and these high exacta payoffs come at the expense of more combos to hit them..it's truly ridiculous what you're asking considering I agreed to be monitoredComment -

#126the exacta remark a little weak I admit although real world you are paying a lot on them and you are constantly harping on that point..but more to the point you just have to get in a contest with me..if I want to monitor my results

#137You know some of the fundamentals better than me. You should as you have many more years of experience. But how do you know you have more than Mr. G&T who has the same if not more years in the game? And do not forget JBEX I asked you about a couple of years ago in the forum if you used pace figures and you said NO. Back then DRF did not have them. Anyway I suggested to you that you use BRIS as I was using them and Timeform back then. Moral of the story is you can always learn in this game even from rookies. NO. Instead of pissing Mr. G&T off try and learn some of his methods. He produces no doubt. All documented.Comment -

there's more to handicapping to me than just race setup and pace advantages.. if he's able to achieve long term good results with his methods more power to himComment -
