True. I'm sure you have all figured that part of what GC does is to take picks where the risk is worth the reward.

Taking dogs to win when they have a good chance of doing so almost always pays 2.00 or better. For that reason, if it hits, you get value for your bet. If it loses, it loses.

Taking the favorite ML only pays 1.77 on average, and the risk isn't worth the reward most of the time. There are exceptions, of course - if a favorite is catching a good price, then load up.
