well, my 3-way completely screwed me with the pens. 0-0 loss, then of course they win in O/T. Worst night ever. -5u for day. +8u for the week including tonight. I could break something right now

But they have screwed a lot of us the last couple weeks with games they should be winning.
Wish I had put some futures $$ on Ducks.
I have too much tied up with other teams.
Guys - Hawks are + 750 to win division - down 4 points to Blues and 7 to Preds (but have played 2 less)...just a thought.
I nabbed Pens +270 to win division yesterday...looks like Isles May Scuffle a bit down the stretch...Rangers are tough though, but Pens are looking strong lately.

I can understand this guy's frustration...seems when everything goes right and then we have a bad day, it almost feels the same as losing 10 days straight...at least for the moment...but if you reflect on that +8 for the week, you should take a breath, grab a cold one, smile, and have the mindset of winning next week too...because you did well...keep things in perspective. There are so many ups and downs in this betting game...I have gone through 4 days of elation and 3 days of disgust this past week and wonder why I had those extreme feelings...mostly due to how much I reflected on things...can't get too caught up in day to day results...look at the big picture...not an easy shift in thinking, but may help.

I am contemplating a 10-day break myself with a trip to FL for 6 days in that stretch...really don't want betting to get in the way if a potentially relaxing time with the fam...and I don't want to risk having a couple losing days coming up to have a lingering feeling on my vacation...might prompt me to bet during the break. It's such a long time though to stay away from the betting world...as I've done it about 6 days per week for the past 2 years.

Dude you should absolutely take a break and go spend some quality time with your family.
Betting should always be a secondary thing in your life - only then it can be fun. If at any time you find yourself thinking about how you're going to bet during your vacation, you need to stop and ask yourself what is the most important thing in your life - and I'm sure you already know what the answer is to that question.
Sports wagering is a serious business for all of us, because we bet real money, but it should never be more than a hobby. A hobby that we can easily put away with no regret for days/weeks/months if we have to.

I'm personally going to be gone for 5 weeks starting the 29th of this month. I normally don't bet the last two weeks of the regular season and do a lot of live betting during the playoffs. I'll check the forum here and there, but I won't be doing any posting at all.

Take a break a have fun man - you deserved it.
