Technically no. The only objective to keep in mind is reaching 100 picks and the 5 max per day. If you do it strategically you can make 2 some days or less if you make sure to max out your picks on other days within the month period.

The "round leaderboard" will show you as DQ'ed on days where you do not make three picks, but that's actually irrelevant.

The overall leaderboard after one month, the cumulative round total, is what the contest will be decided by.
