Are uncorrelated parlays almost always sucker bet? I am trying to do some research about parlays and trying to see when I can have a significant edge. I know that the bookies edge increases with each extra play that is added to the parlay card, and that edge is overcoming any edge I feel I have with each play. I am not sure about the math is involved with adding plays to a parlay card.
I also am trying to assess what my edge is if I do have a correlated parlay that involves let's say...a big dog and an under where if the dog covers the spread, the under will also most likely hit. And what if I have a 3 play parlay that is correlated. Do I still have an edge because I know I am giving up more juice?
