Anyone know where to find detailed information of batters?
Ideally it would have a breakdown of each game the batter played, how many at bats in that game, and the result of each at bat.

SBR points will be given based on quality of reply.

PS: I am looking for more than just this:

Hitter Gp 1B 2B 3B HR Tb TbAvg

    Abreu,B Bobby Abreu 99 59 24 1 12 158 1.60

This is a very tough one... Each bat by bat will be tougher to find...

MLB does have what MLB has as "split stats" Manny
And also where they hit the ball on their "hit chart" Manny

If i were you i'd try surf around a bit at covers . If i find i'll let you know.

Thanks Ryangene, that is quite helpful. I've run into a few sites that calculate total bases odds for batter vs. batter matchups, but I am positive most of them don't take into account left-handed vs. right-handed pitching, the moneyline/total/who is home&away, etc. I think they just look at the raw data and calculate the fraction of times batter X had more total bases than batter Y ().

MLB has pitch f/x data, which tracks every pitch of every game (probably more than what you're looking for). Good description of how to access that data is here: http://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/200...ac-4-pitch-f-x

I assume you already know about retrosheet.org, which provides event files (the results of every at-bat) for MLB; unfortunately, their data are processed only once a year, after the season -- new datasets come out in December.
