    totals prediction tool for NBA/NCAAB?

Anyone know if there is anything along the same lines of Saragin ratings or something like that for totals? Or any other way to predict an accurate total based on season averages would suffice. Basically I would like to use it as a filter for a system I came up with to see how many points the total has been adjusted (based on recent play) from the season medial, if any.

There are ways, but they are not often shared. I think you're unlikely to find a filter that will blindly find profitable totals.

If you don't know what a "pace rating" for a team is, find out. You also need to find out how player injuries affect totals.

I am not trying to use this to find profitable totals, more the opposite. I already have a strong O/U system in place, this would just be used as an additional filter to weed out certain plays.

Pomeroy makes actual score predictions adjusted for pace. Seems to be what you're looking for.
