I do but I run into an issue of converting a ranking into anything useful for betting.

Since I cannot translate my rankings into a spread or a moneyline, I limit my plays to those games that my selected favorite differs from the moneyline and then play the moneyline.

Good results on a limited sample size.

Like West Virginia for me today. My line is West Virginia -1.5.

Have you looked into creating rankings that can use the log5 formula?

I could look into it. The method of creating rankings I use is/was based on simply ranking teams from best to worst in an objective manner. It does a very good job at picking winners, however I need to do thorough backtesting (once I find good historical spread and moneyline data) to see how it does at picking vs. spread or with moneylines. By best estimate, probably not very good.

There is no way (using this model) to translate HOW much better a 14th ranked team is vs a 42nd, or a 3 vs a 4.

For fun here is my Top 25 in NCAA Men's basketball as of RIGHT NOW.
